Who do you rent your ADSL line from?

It seems all ISP's have there downsides. I'm with Telkom and touch wood I've not had any major issues.

My line is with Web Africa. I haven't really had any line faults for quite a while now, but there were quite a few when the line was first installed. Like a dumbass, I sommer called Telkom to sort it out. It would have been easier to let WA do it for me

Least with Telkom the chance of it going down when Seacom or the SAT-3 cable breaks is so slim compared to the other ISP's since they have SAFE also .

Yes since last night Telkom seems to be slower so not just you and wouldnt even do skype properly so had to change to my Afrihost backup.

im with Telkom and have *touch wood* NEVER had a problem with them. my line has been going strong for 2 years with no problems. *touch wood*
i will be chaning to one of their uncapped packages though at the end of the month

I moved my line over to Afrihost. Let them deal with Telkom.
For ISP, I'm still on OpenWeb Uncapped & Unshaped which is working pretty well. That might change in August if I start getting FNB Uncapped for free... depending on their shaping / throttling policies.

seems to be always the same people spreading hate speech even though they have never tried Telkom or used them for years.
