Why you cancel your Xbox version. Out of principle?
Anyways, I bet when the news broke SA gamers would get shafted by the MW2 MP, BT Games where like "Nooooo!!!". They must be getting so many cancellations. They had to take the Porsche they bought on potential earnings on the game back to the shops

Lol. Well all that will mean is that there is going to be prestige editions left over that can be picked up a month or so after launce. Win Win really.
Because at heart I'm a PC gamer and I really do NOT respect what they've done with this. So yes, it was out of principle. I pre-ordered the prestige edition for the XBOX so that I can get the goggles and would have then traded the game itself in for the PC version (apparently a lot of people were going to do that). So yeah, this game is on my blacklist until it gets dedicated servers support or something gets done for us South African Gamers.
Dude....we're in South Africa and our multiplayer aspect has been shafted. Of COURSE this game is going to rock, haven't you seen the footage? The fact of the matter is, it doesn't help that a game ROCKS.....but we in SA cannot get the same level of enjoyment. THAT is the reason for this boycott. It's a virtual South African gamer one-fingered salute to IW and Activision. Join in.

Forget it. I'm buying this on launch, because it's going to be an awesome game. Besides, I'm getting it on Xbox. Matchmaking? Oh, that thing we've already been using for years. \

Dunno if this counts, but I was going to pre-order, but after the news broke of "No Dedicated servers" I am rather going to hang onto the money a while longer to see how this situation pans out.
In the deepest part of my soul I am wishing that this is just an extra feature to the MP part of the game and not THE ONLY way to connect to a MP server.
