Simple poll to determine how many people still actually bother watching normal broadcasts only and who watch internet downloads.

Obviously this does not include sport as that is kinda pointless to watch if it's not live.

I am so over tv since they can't keep a series in the right order. One day was watching NCIS session 2 ep something and the next day here is Session 3 ep 6 I was like WTF happened to the rest. Also happened to Supernatural and a few other programs as well mythbusters comes to mind. For 6 months they tne wait for the new session of mythbuster just to end up having a rerun of the session that was on the that year.

Wow the mods they are on the ball today.

I download series. I am tired of watching repeats on t.v. And most of the new stuff on T.V kinda sucks.

If somebody gives it to me, I'll watch it. But I don't go out of my way to download series. I might download the occasional movie if it's under 800mb.

I download all my series ! and a big benefit of downloading it is I dont have to deal with dumbass commercials/adverts every 5 minutes and i can watch the episodes whenever I want to watch it !

Haha, yea so true.

Got rid of my TV 3 years ago when I got internet, I just DL fan-subs for anime, at this time I have too much anime and too little time to watch it. :(

can't vote since i can't choose movies and series.

Is there any other way to? isn't true for me either as a i do go the cinemas a lot.

I watch the occasional show on SABC or eTV via my TV card - when it displays more than a garbled mess of pixels on a green background.
For movies, I go to the cinema two or three times a year if there is something I particularly want to watch that has received a favourable
review. Other than that, I spend my time reading, on the internet and playing games.

I'll confess that I did once obtain copyrighted materials from a friend. I eventually deleted the lot when I realised that I would probably never get around to watching it.
I was also beginning to feel twinges of guilt.

:o

ROFL, LOL

Sjoe, Okay :P Each to their own sense of guilt then :)

I download Everything I watch :D No Ads, No rip off subscription fee's for DSTV gemors.

Convience, Updated weekly Episodes, HD Content to my hearts galore.

I watch all my series from downloads. Even though it's technically illegal, I still pay my TV licence and my DStv subscription so by watching a series on my own time instead of when DStv says I should doesn't register as piracy or lost revenue to me.

I also try to hit the cinema as much as possible instead of watching pirate movies but I'm seriously losing faith in Ster Kinekor and Nu Metro. The last few movies I've seen included annoyances like broken/crackling speakers, suspect picture quality and even a foot-long tear in one of the screens. When a lot of people can watch full HD flicks in their own homes on pimped out home theatre systems for the cost of a R30 Blu-ray rental (or even free if you pirate) it's no wonder that cinema tickets sales are plummeting.

Not to mention the often grubiness and dirty cinemas. It always just feels nasty in there. And then their is the pricing of the concession stands goods. Holy crap it's insane.

Not too bothered with movies, unless a movie takes too long to get here (i.e. A-Team, 9, etc). Series on the other hand I do watch a lot and keep myself updated.

PS: New seasons of Castle, House, Chuck and Bones are out!!! GO GO GO!!!!!!
