Who's happy with bulldozer?

When the AMD FX first came out, people where going crazy, either loving it or bashing it based on the reviews (mostly the former). However, time has passed, and I haven't seen any one talk about these now. So, for those who bought one, are you happy with your purchase? Do you wish you got intel instead? And will you upgrade to piledriver when it comes out?

Personally, im very happy. Thats because I dont choose a cpu based on how many fps it can produce in BF3, but rather how long I have to wait when I hit render in maya. Using windows 8 now, and it seems to have improved some more. The OS sees it as 4 cores, 8 threads, basically like hardware hyper threading.

I'm currently an Intel user, but I have owned AMD systems in the past. I gotta hand it to AMD they do have consumers in mind and maybe that's because at the moment they are the under dog but Intel really pulls some fast ones on their customers.

Take buying a new mobo when they decide their CPU's need more or less pins, that's a blatant deal they have with motherboard manufacturers to keep the wheels turning in production. AMD at least keeps your board going for as long as possible, and they came up with the first integrated memory controller.

I really wish their new platform comes through, a price war can only benefit us at the end of the day. I'd really like to switch back to AMD and maybe I will.

So any bulldozer owners out there? Lets hear your two cents worth.

I am very happy with Bulldozer.

FX8120 @ 4.5Ghz
AMD FX Closed loop water cooler
Asus Crosshair 5
16GB Patriot G2 DDRIII 1600
XFX 7970

It runs just as well as any of my intel rigs.
Its only in benchmarking where the intel's will score more, but in gaming there is no difference whatsoever.
I think they main reason why AMD is losing out to Intel at the moment is the pricing of the AMD FX8120 and FX8150.
If they had to drop the price to around R1600 for a FX8120 it would be an epic buy but at its current retail price of R2000+ most people will end up buying Intel.

Really looking forward to piledriver and steamroller though.
