why i wouldnt want my sons to marry a white or colored woman

Wha...? I don't even... :wtf:

So if her child does come home with a white or coloured girl (whom they love), their mother will be very conflicted about it. Thank Holy Moses my mom is not like that.

She's proud of her race and culture, this I understand, but her opinion of it over other races is a bit strong, very strong.. racially strong.

I know, its disgusting. The woman is trying to let racism substitute proper parenting. I mean surely if you raise your child properly for one then they will bring home a nice lady. Then again maybe she will be happy if she brings home a ratchet girl, so long as she fits the race requirement of being black instead of the nice well mannered coloured girl.

looooool, funny read and for some more laughs, read the scrolling "Latest News."

I think ppl dont understand, freedom of speech is not a license any kind of tripe you want. Clearly this person is as racist as you can get.

Color is no indication of character.

This story is just so f!!!!!ng sad...., Boy dies after black mamba bite

Uh, it sounds more like she's using her sons as an excuse to be racist against mix-race people specifically for... no apparent reason. The article would be more accurate if it were titled "Why I hate colored people".

"and we know how common it is for coloreds to not know who their fathers are.

Classy.

Don't worry lady, I didn't want to marry your sons anyway
Spoiler: show
(because their mother is a racist nut).

My simple response on FB to someone who shared the "article"

Truth be told, it's an old, archaic, and ill-informed opinion that blankets and paints entire groups with little to no understanding beyond stereotypes. It's one thing to want your child to "keep it in the race", but to have that desire based on misinformation? That's unfortunate.

My mother already knows not to be shocked if I bring home a woman who is not of the same race as me.

My parents would really mind about the SO...I know that they would be concerned about offspring though...i.e. A child that doesn't feel it fits into either culture and thus feels lost.

Luckily for the parents my interests happen to aligned with their conservative thinking so its a non-issue anyway.

Such is the way of Africa people. Race cards is the only game we play over here!

What makes her think the ladies are swooning for her sons. Let alone whites or coloureds which by the way rarely go for black dudes.
They clearly have her idiot racist genes.

I understand the culture thing and I kinda side with you on this thing. Not that I have a problem with mixed-race relationships, but my personal preference sides with my own race and culture. But I'm already married and have been for more than 7 years. So, as you say, it's a non-issue anyway.

I guess my open nature on the whole matter is a result of my very diverse circles of friends, so I end up not seeing a barrier between the different races outside of cultural differences which I normally treat as an opportunity to learn more so than anything. So as black man? Black, White, Coloured, Asian, Indian, etc? If you're a beautiful woman who has a personality that interests me, I couldn't be bothered by the race.

Hey parents, give it up, your children are gonna do what they want to do not what you want them to do.
