Why is your avatar your avatar?

It's m... it's Keith Richards. I'm a guitar, Stones, and Richards fan.

On Steam it's a picture of Barney Gumble, since I like Barney Gumble, and on most other forums' it's this random pic I found on the internet:

Quite a long time ago I saw a trailer for the game called Time Shift, it had an awesome trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIraSugBSWM

which I saw on the NAG, I like the whole time manipulation mechanic and thought it was a cool game, I came across this picture Time Shift

Using Coral Paint, I customized it to look like it looks today, and I have used it ever since.

Sad thing is, I never got to play that game, because the trailer was the last I ever heard of it, I never even seen it in game stores, so I kinda forgot about it with all the other games I was busy playing.
 
Because I stand for Truth, Justice, and the American Way"whistling:! On a serious note, it's because I gravitate towards Superman/Clark Kent as a character (because I actually get the essence of the character). If it wasn't Superman, it would've been some badass dragon since they're my favorite mythical creatures, but of course I wouldn't want to steal a certain Khaleesi's thunder (looking @ you [MENTION=2530]Wyvern[/MENTION], mother of Wyverns:p).

But see [MENTION=8104]Saint_Dee[/MENTION] you cant change it - because then if I called you Super Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it would just confuse people!

i think my profile pic was a logo pic of my website a few years ago (when i still updated it regularly) and I've just not felt like updating it yet :)
 
I see the avatar I uploaded yesterday vanished after a few posts.

Oh well.

edit: and trying to upload it again has brought it back even though the site said "uploading failed".
