Does any of this really matter?
No really, is any of this remotely relevant?
I grew up playing DOS games, in between commodore and ZX Titles.
You know what by todays standards those games would never be played due to Graphic Quality issues that people perceive as being important.
I have all of the current and last gen consoles and enough PC's of gaming spec to host my own LAN at home, do I really care which version of a specific title runs at slightly slower Framerates?
The simple answer is no, I don't and neither should anyone else.
If you have an Xbox, great, if you don't and you own a PlayStation, also great and if you only play on Wii, awesome.
If you do not like what you are seeing onscreen, sell what you have and replace with something that does give you something you like.
Or get a better LED so that your Blacks don't look watered down and your colours aren't faded.
Honestly, of all the productive time consuming endeavours we as a species could be participating in we predominantly spend our time discussing why X platform is better than Y and whether or not the title has been ported or parallel developed with a console version.
No one should care about issues like this, is the game fun on X platform, yes, carry on, no, play something else but please for the sake of our sanity as a species, discuss something other than which console or platform is winning the fictional war of the consoles
