Why?

I got a "tv-games" system when i was about 6ish (1992)... Got one of the very first PSX's that hit the shores of SA back in the day, my old man was in Aus when they launched and he bought one so he could play... i think he used it... once? lol

Got the PS2 a year or 2 after it launched... Begged and scratched the cash together for that, but very soon after that got pulled into PC gaming and played mostly on PC in high school and varsity.

When i graduated I started working on site and my lappie was not much of a gaming rig so tried console gaming again and thats when switched to a xbox in the Feb of 07 :)

Games that got me hooked onto gaming would be: Contra, Diablo 2, half life, GT2......

Because I enjoy it :) Usually it's because I have nothing better to do, but there's times where I just want to be a hermit and stay home playing games.

Cause I get to blow stuff up .........
I have also being playing for as long as I can remember,
Pure entertainment thats what it is for me

I've been playing games since the NES era. I owned a Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2, PS3, XBOX360 and I've always had the best PC for gaming - why? Because I'm constantly amazed by the graphics and technology used in games. I rarely EVER finish a game but I absolutely appreciate every title for its technological merits.

Well I'm gaming life isn't good as some of the stories here. My Dad always had a PC and my Mom sometimes but my DAd was one of those old school programers who didn't like games, I think my first exparince was Age Of Empires One..... at my friends place and this cool helcopter game, I was mad for AOE, Then my mom got me these stupid "educational games" Then another friend had the demo for Age Of Empires 2: Age Of Kings Demo, I can't tell you how meny times I played the training :D, Then meny years later, I was never alowed to play on my Dads PC, My perents brought me "TV Games" My "NES clone" That was cool, played super mario, Contra, those where my favorites. The in 2005, I started High School, My mom kicked my dad out and we had a pc, spider solitar FTW :D, LOL, mom got a work PC that wasn't bad, and my friend lent mt GTA: Vice City......... and that where I rate it started, my mom brought me a graphics card and Start Wars BAttlefront 2 thats was cool, that graphics card lasted me till this year (RIP) and I built my own computer from 2nd hand parts in 2006 and I've played tons of games since :D I love it and Its a great stress reliver, If a game is not fun, I won't play it, unless Im really bored

I got my first console when I was 3years old. I played lots of old nes games cant remember the names of all of them but damn it it was alot of games. When I was born my mother gave birth to a twins, me... and my console. And it has evolved overtime but sadly, me & my childish love for games has not :)

Good old TV Games to 386, Sega Megadrive, Sega Saturn, PS1, Pentium 333, PS2 and the many PC's to follow, (and endless cuts on my hands due to those shoddy old steel cases).
I'd hate to know the total amount of money invested in this passion.

I only play console for exclusives, otherwise Pc for me :)
Same here bud ;)
