Wii U launch day lineup confirmed

I think the Wii U is going to be a smashing little console. Just what Nintendo fans need while this console generation is dragged on a bit.

No-brainer upgrade for current Wii owners, and an enticing and relatively affordable prospect for people looking for a new console.

It still has that family-friendly image, but has a lot more to cater to mature gamers. So when the kids are tuckered out from Wii party games, dad can pick up Assassin's Creed 3.

Agreed. I have also thought about the price a bit and it really isn't that bad. I think that I'll just wait a few months and then pick one up. Just wondering how I am going to proposition this to my girlfriend, with the house already full of consoles...

Was semi-bummed when I saw no Gamecube bakwards compatibility, I am pretty sure they are going to release GC games on the Wii U store :D
