Will this PC setup be able to Max out the latest games?

I have AMD A10-5800K and 16GB ram. The CPU can't upgrade unless I get a new motherboard. I am itching to buy a Geforce GTX960 4GB for R3300.00. I want to be able to run the latest titles at 1080 max settings.

Is that the best I can get for R3500 - R4000?

Your CPU will be the bottleneck ultimately, I'd suggest you save up and go (if you want to stick with AMD processors) to the FX-9590 or FX9370, else go for an i5-4590, i5-4690 or i5-6600

What speed is your RAM?

Nope I don't think it will. Not at max setting at all. But there is not much info given there, bare basics :)

This is the fuller spec. I started building up a gaming pc some years ago, now I am at the GPU but at the rate I am going the pc is already obsolete! Whats the next logical step? I dont mind Intel/AMD, I have R4000 to spend at the moment.

Motherboard ASRock FM2A75M-ITX
Memory 16GB DDR3 2600
HDD Samsung 500GB EVO SSD
AMD A10-5800K 3.8Ghz

Like Psychofish said, that CPU will eventually bottleneck the GPU. I had an AMD 1090T running with a GTX 970 and I almost never got up to 60fps on max/ultra settings. Switched over to a I5-4690 and it made a world of difference. Now most games never dip below 60 (vsync enabled).

If you would like to stick with AMD then maybe wait for the Zen release later this year.

You can get a 4690 (oem) on carb for about R1800

If he can maybe sell his current mobo +CPU, then he can buy my system that I am currently selling. Might be a bit more than needed, but it is a i7 4770K and Gigabyte z97X Gaming 5, and selling for very cheap! :)
