There is no such thing as safe harbor from Zombies. Over the years they’ve infiltrated peaceful towns, ominous mansions, space, and even Nazi Germany. They can spread their infection like wildfire, survive without their limbs, and they’re always hungry. The odds are not in humanity’s favor, but if you make the right decisions, you might survive the imminent zombie apocalypse.

Why not get it tattooed to the back of your hand? You'll need it with you at the time, and that way you can't lose it. Unless one of them rips your arm off.
 
One place thats safe from zombies could be a floating oilrig in the sea. Just make sure there aren't any zombies to begin with and make sure no one infected comes aboard. And maybe at some point you can attach to other rigs and build yourself a floating empire!
