Running it already. Seems to work just fine, but the changes aren't really that in-your-face, not for me at least. I love the dark theme though.

The best feature for me is the one that 98% of the people will never use.... bash

The rest is kinda meh.

I've already got GitBash installed. I'm just about ready to celebrate the anniversary by wiping and going back to 7...

Personally I used mobaxterm but the problem came when you worked in corp enviroments that did not allow for 3rd party installs.

As for people that constantly threaten that they gonna go back to 7, or instal *nix do it. We get it you dont like 10 and stuck in the past. We dont care what you are using, in fact the quicker you do it, the better for the rest of us that are tired of people's whining. :)

This thread is "Windows 10 discussion"... I'm discussing the fact that I would have gone back to 7 (dual booted with linux, which I hadn't mentioned, as I have been for ages) long ago if I had the time and/or urgency to do so, including making all the necessary backups, etc. When I said I'm just about ready, I mean I've just about gotten everything ready. Its been a long time plan that I just haven't gotten around to.

I'm sure people care just as little about the fact the only thing you like out of the new update is bash, and that you think the rest is meh, as little as they do that I am downgrading.

Heck, I might even go the route of triple booting (I'll have to verify potential license violations first) with linux, win7 and win10 (just for DX12), but you obviously don't care about that either.

Hey, the last patch fix the microsoft Store, now I can buy Quantum Break *sarcasm*

But couldnt get it to work before. At least its working now, never been able to browse it, cept for the 8.1 update I think.

Meh, I still think 7 has been the best they've done, but there is virtually nothing I can't do in 10 that I can in 7, plus it gives a slight performance boost even on old hardware.

I enjoy 10 but that store. It's the worst thing. And the way it manages updates, Ugh! They really could of learnt a lot from Steam, even Origin is better. Ubisoft's platform is the only thing worse the Windows Store at the moment and not by much.

The store is much better in the Anniversary update though. I do agree that the update approach could use some work. I would like the ability to pause an update or at least limit its bandwidth consumption. Currently it will just kill your link completely without warning.

lol, Finally the reason MS added the ability to remove "pirate" software. :wtf: [emoji14] Damn, I havent used thunderbird in ages...
Lawl if thunderbird is pirate software, then all my games i have accuired are totally legit, especially since they weren't removed. Atleast my history and settings were kept so it's not the end of the world, but still
