Windows 8 sells 4 million copies in less than a week

nt a fun plunge, maybe im just retarded but i hate the tile layout and the accessibility with menus, I just want my start button back :(

It is probably due to the cheap price tag. Heck, even I'm tempted and I already own the Enterprise edition.

So has anyone here taken the plunge yet?
I've installed Windows 8 with Office 2013 and VS2012 on my laptop. I only use the laptop when travelling but since I'm in GP now, I haven't had a need to travel yet.

I've been using the evaluation version for a while and it's going to expire in about a week. So yes I will buy the Professional version.

Win 8 does have its problems but after using it for a while it feels like a step back when I try to use Win 7 again.

Love Windows 8. Even love the tiles as well, but not using it as much at the moment. Spend most of time in normal desktop. Got me live tiles open on one screen and the desktop in the other. Love the new task manager and copying as well.

Price weighs heavy in the deciding factor. I actually purchased my upgrade code a few hours ago.
After I checked out this screenshot (below) on reddit, I just about instantly changed my position on Metro, from hate, to like.

Yep and tested hardware upgrade (mb, cpu, ram) after activated. Still working, hec I didn't even re install windows. Just swapped my hardware out and let it boot up, perform phone activation and walla.

This really is a massive improvement from all the HAL kak we had since windows 2000.
