Same here, i've not had the need to upgrade to Win8 yet.
I'm still very happy with my Win 7 systems.
Hopefully Win9 will have all the things that Win8 lacks.
 
Perhaps more important, though, is the shift to a 12-month release cadence. Historically, Microsoft has released a major version of Windows every few years, with the intervening periods populated with stability — and security-oriented service packs. Now it seems that Microsoft wants to move to an OS X-like system, where new and exciting features will be added on an annual basis. In turn, Microsoft will drop the price of these releases — probably to around $25, just like OS X.

They already do that... any additional languages needs to be downloaded.
Recall windows movie maker that came with XP? That needs to be separately downloaded too.
I'm just glad they are free DLCs :D
 
Anyone still holding out with Win98 or XP still? I have an old box with XP on it, my PC with Win7, and then my wifes laptop with Win8. We tried to install win8.1 but forgot to plug the laptop in and the battery died half way through the install. Lol, epic fail.
 
I am still using Vista business here cant be bothered to upgrade my OS to keep up with the times so only time I would use it is if the laptop came with it pre-installed.
 
Win 7 and Suse Box at work and an 8.1 Rig at home. Have all my XP Pro/Vista Ultimate/7 Ultimate Discs and keys still.

We should boycott Windows 9... This is becoming ridiculous.
