I liked both the wage and megarom link

Haven't played it before but the screenshots on google images and youtube gameplay videos look quite cool so would love to play it and like fighting games.

One of my most memorable moments in Borderlands would have to be playing the game for the first time. I didn't know what to expect and I was totally blown away by the amazing setting and of course the bazillion guns that you could get - I had never played anything like it and I really enjoyed the elemental abilities of the Siren. Love it!

Most memorable?
Getting Crawmerax's health so low one well placed critical shot would have downed him... before dying due to a badly timed reload... i didnt play again for weeks :P

Most memorable moment... Playing Borderlands and it's expansions for a whole long weekend with friends. Awesome fun!
O and using the vault "bug" to open all the chests without triggering the timer...

Most memorable ...

Starting Borderlands Co-op for the 1st time with my brother.
One of my freshest memories of gaming co-op.
We'd seen previews and so on, but no real idea on what to really expect...

Then ... Having an awesome time playing together!

My most memorable moment from Borderlands was probably seeing it demoed at rAge. I couldn't believe how good the game looked and how well it ran, my anticipation for the game was high and it was an awesome moment when I first booted up the game in all its glory on my own pc.

My most memorable moments in Borderlands are actually a collection of moments. A series, if you will. Centered around the damned Claptrap.

When I first met the Claptrap, I was distrustful. I was just booted off a bus in the middle of nowhere, and an overly friendly little robot approached me and offered to help. Call me cynical, but I just didn't buy it. Soon, though, I grew to like the Claptrap. I enjoyed it's little quips. I even laughed once or twice. Out loud. But that wasn't to last.. The Claptrap got into trouble too often. I had to save 30 odd Claptraps, while I could've been out doing something useful, like finding guns. It's whiny voice grated against my spine, it's backfiring caused me to wince as if I had PTSD, and it just would. Not. Stop.

I shot it.

I shot it a lot.

I can't actually remember if it died, or was a typical invulnerable NPC, because it wasn't about the effect of shooting it, but rather the act; the release of pent up rage, hate, and violence.

Afterwards, I realised that it was a pretty special thing, especially in modern gaming, that a character could evoke such a vivid emotional response from me. I haven't had that sort of intensity of feelings in a game since classic story driven games like Baldur's Gate 2. It's experiences like that, that makes me enjoy gaming.

Also, the co-op was loads of fun when my housemates grabbed it on the steam sale.

My most memorable moment was when I got a (glitched) uber gun from a random co-op player. I was playing solo (but online) when a random dude came into my game dropped a gun on the floor and just stood there. I ignored him at first, but he kept shooting at the gun on the floor, trying to get me to pick it up. I eventually did and couldn't believe it when I saw that it killed any enemy with just one shot. I checked out out the gun's stats and noticed that it had insane (impossible) damage. I then used this gun to level up all my characters by just running through the game and one-shotting everything in sight. I never could get myself to use it on Crawmerax though, although I'm pretty sure even with that gun I wouldn't have been able to kill him. :p

Another memorable moment was when I heard the awesome sound from my playstation when I got the Borderlands platinum trophy (my first plat). :D

MegaRom page "Liked"
Wage page "Liked" loooong ago already. ;)

Never played the original but I'm really exited for Borderlands 2 cause myself and a couple of friends will be getting it for online multiplayer. Four person Co-Op FTW!! :D

Not sure I have a specific moment I just really enjoyed my time playing the game with friends. I suppose the one thing that really stood out for me to make the game memorable was the humour, having a laugh with your mates while shooting and looting just can't be beat. :)

Already got Megarom and Wage liked, awesome info from them.

Most memorable moment is much the same as most people who have played the first borderlands. The pleasant surprise of playing it with friends. We even had a mini comp to see who could get further in story within an hour of starting new characters.

Then there is Claptrap. Little dude has more personality than most people :D

Like'd and Like'd.

Borderlands...Loved that hilarious geyser in the first act with the prosthetic limbs, blind etc..."you smell worse than a skag"

Liked mentioned pages. My memorable moment was being woken up 7 'o clock the morning to: "Wake up, wake up. I finished another mission. You need to join quick. I need your help with this area". For interest sake, this was coming from my SO and we played until 4 in the morning before I was woken up at 7 again. Probably got like 5 hours sleep altogether that weekend. :D

My most memorable moment was the last time I played. I still haven't finished the game, but I am busy with the last guy (read several months ago). I for the liking of me cannot beat him, end result, I figure to myself, f0ck that sh1t, I beat him, and nobody knows any different except for now that is lol :)

Done! "liked" on wage and megarom link
