*WINNER ANNOUNCE* Win Google Nexus 7 Tablet PC with MyGaming

Used to be very active now im pretty much a lurker.

Everything about this website since inception back in Feb 2009 has felt like a 2nd home me.

There is 2 things however...

1.That Disqus on the main articles is confusing as hell. Do i have to make another user name or what? Would be cool to comment with my forum account (if u can i got no clue how to)

2. This aint a bad thing but more of a comedical thing to watch...

i love the articles there so many and so fun to read. on the other hand dedicated console sections on forums and a section for graphic card drivers would be great.

I like this forum. Some people make me facepalm, some people make me smile.
I enjoy sharing my opinion here because there are a lot of like minded people that share my point of view and others that completely differ from me, which provides me with different opinions.

I have been here since the site started, and it is the first tab I open in the morning when I sit down at my computer. Great articles, great comps and mostly great people!

If I could change one thing though it would be to take away the minimum character requirement, sometimes you just wanna :D and not have to give a sentence why :p

Keep up the good work MyGaming. The site has gone from strength to strength!

MyGaming.co.za and its forum are my prime procrastinating tools :p I really enjoy the site and the discussions in the forums. And the comps!

With regard to suggestions, how about seeing if there is a game distributor that you could team up with again and run a comp like the Exclus1ves one last year? I know that that comp motivated me to get involved in the community. The fact that it ran for a number of consecutive weeks and that many had the opportunity of winning was a good incentive for people to be active on the forum. The 10 posts a week thing helped in that regard although I think the 2 post a day requirement is probably better since you won't get spammers posting nonsense posts all in one day, they're not likely to put in the effort to spam 2 posts a day.

Another idea that might be fun is to run a "Review of the Month" comp or at least forum award. Members can submit a review of a game they've played recently and the best review of that month wins. The judging could be a combination of the MyGaming staff members each getting a vote and the community voting (but then counting only as one vote as a whole in order to ward against the vote padding we've seen in the past). It's a similar idea to the "Rate the last game you played" thread just a bit more fleshed out. I enjoy reading up on what others thought of a game and have at times bought a game partly influenced by what other players on this forum have said about the game. I think this is one of the forums greatest strengths that being you get to know the members and begin to trust some of their opinions on games.

My only complaint is i alwasy come on durign work and sometimes the game backgrounds are a bit too much for the work enviroment other then that its a cool forum need to spend mroe time here actually :p

Could never afford a tablet PC, or a BlackBerry, or an Android, or any one of these modern hand-held gadgets, so here's hoping my entries will change my life!

No complaints here. MyGaming is still my first stop. On my Google Chrome, the start tab page (which lists the most accessed pages), it is listed as MyGaming, ChessConquest, FNB :)

I did like it back with the weekly Exclusives competitions... I didn't care about winning or anything, but we did have more forum activity which was nice.

I recently started being more active on MyBroadband as well, but it is just so freakin big. It takes forever to just read through the updates / new posts.

I really enjoy the site and the forum. I first saw a few posts on MyBroadband which sparked my interest and I quickly started following both...

My time is very important to me, and I don't always have the time to keep informed on all of the games that I love. MyGaming does that for me, and I am very grateful for that :)

Wow, what a prize :wtf:

Website is functional, I love the articles, actually prefer this site to foreign ones, so content is top-notch. Not much else to say, I suppose!

The MyGaming website is awesome, the news and reviews are very infomative and enriching. The forum is also great, but when I use my local cap, the pages load slower. I think this is maybe because of the advertisments that run on the website.

Really awesome gaming website and forum! Keep up the great work MyGaming!

The website is awesome and rarely disappoints (especially when it comes to the more controversial topics). The forum is an even better extension of mygaming, with all the debates (a few heated ones:D) and discussions.

Visit mygaming at least 5 times a day :)

I feel like the forum-widget-thingy on the front page should be next to the main slideshow of articles or just above the poll-thingy, rather than waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom of the page.

As many are saying, the forum is great!
I do think as a possible addition, make specific sections for certain popular games... as an example, one section for BF3 and one for Guild Wars 2 and then have all related topics added under that category, will make navigating threads that much easier i think in terms of the more popular titles.

Forum is problem free as mentioned before, however a mobile gaming subforum would be appreciated like the xbox, ps3, wii section, maybe call it mobile, vita, 3ds, (something along those lines) the classified section is still a confusing mess imho and adding some more smileys like a puke smiley would be orsome.

Hey, I would love for you guys to change the mobile forum view to the same one that MyBroadband use. The current one has been tried by MyBB but it really isn't nice at all.

Please change to the same one as MyBB uses.
