All fine, but more posts per page in the forum would be nice.
And more game reviews and mini review for android/ios games would really help.

Hmmm. Maybe experiment with Side Scrolling instead of downward scrolling like metro apps? would be interesting.
 
Forum is not bad, but as with all SA forums it's quietening down, competitions like this can help.
 
Awesome forum, been registered here for a while and its always been great and continues to improve. As stated before some sub-forums for different consoles would be neat, and maybe a place in profiles for PSN IDS, Steam usernames etc(unless i missed where, lol)
Dont really use the marketplace here, could possibly improve on the structure of it a bit?

Some great suggestions mentioned and initiative to improve is wicked..
 
I really like the site and the forum. Even though I don't post a lot, I read the forums almost every day and find the discussions and debates quite entertaining.

The only small problems I have are:

  1. After all these years there still isn't an obvious link to search the forum
  2. I would have liked it more if the comments in the articles were the same as the ones in the forum, instead of having two separate discussions about the same article.
  3. Many of the articles don't have links to a forum discussion at all, I would have thought this would be automated by now.

I got to admit, I really can't think of anything bad to say about myG, its the only gaming news site I follow aside from Kotaku, and its the best place to chat to my fellow saffer gamers. Maybe more of a focus on the local gaming scene?
 
No complaints really. Only problem that I've had a couple of times before was that the font on the tabs (HOME, FORUM, WHAT`S NEW, PHOTOS, CLASSIFIEDS) have changed to Times New Roman once or twice but that may have been a browser related issue.

The content is good and informative.
 
Really glad to have a SA gaming info site and I must say after recently looking through reviews for Death Rally, yours is probably the best one. Just wish they could have made the game a bit better...
 
I enjoy the MyBB and MyGaming websites, been frequenting them for years for all my local news / opinions. Also helps me keep abreast of new technologies out there. Now that I have my S3 with a data plan, I can sneak glances at these sites while pretending to work and I really like the mobile format of the site. I agree with an above poster, the Diablo 3 ad is a bit old school now :P

A forum search feature should have been a #1 priority for a long time.

As for "Social network interaction" personally I couldn't care less about that, maybe others do but I don't even use Facespace.

About the News section comments and Disqus, wouldn't it be easier to just have a forum thread for each news article and load the forum thread (minus avatars, signatures etc) as comments, if you're feeling especially lazy you could also just make the "Comment" button take someone to the forum thread from where they could add a reply, oops I mean comment.

Website is for the most part fine, except that I personally dislike that "main article" little applet at the top. Really annoying to browse on smaller screen devices (like netbook).

Forums are also quite ok, I have been rather inactive of late due to heavy workload etc. I would however like to see [/img] tags working properly again. (ie: not link to image, display image, and available options such as [/img width=x]
 
I have to agree with the general feeling of the posts , the forum and the mods are awesome and the content is always informative.
The recent changes to the news section did iron out a few quims I had and you guys are pretty much on the button, with out it turning into a too much pat on the back thing maybe small changes to keep up with the current trend in other site's like theme options
but that's being really petty on my part.

I've recently started reading on this forum as well as commenting. Still early days for me to provide pros or cons.
I have found the posting of comments to be a bid tedious, as I am used to the disqus platform.

Generally the site is great, very little adverts, clean interface and short load time compared to The Verge which loads, I think, 7.5 mb in their start up page. The weekly competition makes me come to the site daily.
But the news section sometimes feel like a spam of useless info. Out of 10-15 articles only one of them are eye-catching.
I wish there was more exclusive news content but being based in South Africa I guess that can be difficult where gaming has a low foot print compared to North America or Europe.
