*WINNER ANNOUNCED* DmC courtesy of Ster Kinekor - new MyGaming competition format

James

MyGaming Alumnus
Courtesy of our friends at Ster Kinekor Entertainment, we have a copy of DmC (Devil may Cry) to give away on either PS3 or Xbox 360 (winner's choice).

The competition will work differently to how things have been done in the past, and will also serve as a test run for our new competition system.

The newly implemented MyGaming activity system allows us to run competitions that reward the most active member(s) on the forum during a period of time.

An example of this can be found in the MyGaming leaderboard section of the forum (accessed through a button on the forum menu bar, and selected in the menu on the left). - http://mygaming.co.za/forum/vbactivity.php?do=contests

There are no prizes for the test competition. The winners will receive a PM notifying them of their win.

Win DmC courtesy of Ster Kinekor - new MyGaming competition format

James is gonna win this one

This looks like an interesting way to do things, I just hope it doesn't cause a lot more pointless posts and threads.

James in your link that list you have in this thread is specified as "excluded criteria". Is this correct?

Extremely stupid move to this type of format. I know of plenty of guys that have been here for years but they work so post very little. What they do post is invaluable but now they will be inelligble ........ dumb.

Viva the trolls and shit talkers.

Ummmm ... I dunno ... but I really don't see this working out in a way that gives everyone an equal chance of winning. I foresee plenty of pointless threads, posts, polls, reps and who knows what else popping up.

When and where did this test comp happen? 0.o

Mixed feelings at this point sure are probably acceptable but totally downright flaming the idea off the bat before its had a chance to evolve is a bit careless to be honest.

Lets give it a chance?

So only readers cant win which I do mostly of than posting.

Jip, means I'm screwed as well! Have just been promoted and now only get time on weekends to really do some browsing and catchup, so no more competition wins for me..

C'mon James, there must be a old timer pass where we get triple points for every post! :D

Fairly new to the forum but I too agree this isn't the greatest idea. Rewarding people who have the most free time to type inane posts and threads seems a very odd idea
