*WINNER ANNOUNCED* Epic giveaway: Win a 1TB PlayStation 4

I have been on here for a good few years now. I don't post very often, but find a lot of the articles pretty interesting. The forums are also really useful, and have found lots of little gems and good links on games.

Overall I don't think there is much that needs to be changed. Might be an idea for My Gaming to post their own scores on games vs the standard scores from other websites. A little local flavour is always nice. You could also perhaps get one or three users to do their own game reviews for a bit of perspective and variation. After all we all tend to have different opinions about what makes a good game.

Apart from that Jan, and his crew are sure to do an awesome job and keep us coming back for more and more.

*Note: If there is any doubt over the last sentence, let me clear is up, this is intended to be a blatant use of flattery to gain favour of Jan and his AWESOME, yes AWESOME crew :D

I love the fact that you guys release a Deals of the Week article and the article that talk about Humble Bundle Monthly, Xbox Live and PSN.

I like having all my gaming in one space and the forum topics give some great insight even though I'm not always by the means to contribute. I do however get most of my news and views from other gamers right here. I like that all the top gaming articles are packaged in a neat Newsletter. Love it, keep it up.

What I like about MyGaming...the site loads? :D

hehe, I like the dedicated threads and news on specific games, its basically my go to for news on specific games I play. Be that BF4, Battlefront, Grim Dawn, Diablo 3. Its just nice to have news and bits of interesting stuff on a particular game. Great to see how a game just makes some people go gaga. Sometimes it leads to a bit of a flare in tempers, but thats not always a bad thing, especially if ideas gets thrown around and people make up afterwards.

Other than that, great place to see about game/hardware specials...I blame this site for me every expanding STEAM/Origin/Uplay, etc game collection...bastids. (expect lawyers soon! Dont worry though, all the money will be pumped into more games....leading to yet more court cases, I'll be set for live!!)

What I would like....perhaps some reviews by local people? Both hardware and games? I used to love reading NAG, for both. But really, thats just nitpicking. Would be nice to see what we have locally available to us.

This has probably been said numerous times, but I always enjoy pc builds for different budgets, especially in a South African context with the current currency rate :(
What I do enjoy are the game reviews, I find that they are far more to my tastes than many other alternative sources ☺

For me personally it is the competitions and promotions that have me keep coming back.

I'd like to see even more information on current running promotions.

I like that it's a gathering place for gamers. I'd like to see more gaming reviews on systems like the Wii U and DS.

I fucking enjoy the lack of censorship :D

I'd like more coverage of SA esports events.

For me personally, I also wish there was more Xbox console news, its very PC orientated. To be fair though, SA is very PS and PC orientated anyway.

I like the regular articles and the south african perspective.

I would really like to see the names of the staff writers on the articles. STAFF WRITER is not cool!?

Taking ownership and pride in their work would be neat? It dehumanises the articles in my opinion if you dont know who wrote it.

Do you guys employ freelancers?

Thanks

Best part is the e mails about whats happening, even if you do not visit the site much.
Also like said because its local, with our own unique Online community

want more comps to win stuff :P

The cliche , to much of a good thing , is bad for you , i tend to disagree , without a doubt , men will never grow up , especially with gaming , i can proudly say without a shadow of a doubt , i am a serious gamer and still to this date( Married lol) i still enjoy my gaming , sitting hours and playing my favorite games e.g FIFA or GTA or Call of Duty to mention but a few , and having MyGaming provide solid , reliable and excellent news on upcoming games , or review games or anything gaming related makes life so much easier , in fact , with just bad and sad news about the economy and the current state affairs happening around us , MyGaming , actually reliefs stress because gaming at least lets us escape the daily sad news and bring us much needed joy , i would say , pls continue the good work updating us gaming fanatics with the newsletters and keeping us updated as well .

What i like most about Mygaming is that we have a forum that we can call home and visit every single day, you always benefit be it from notifications about specials, bundles, user reviews, site/forum/community giveaways, technical help, and just the general welcoming attitude of forum users. In General alot of people became good friends in real life after coming across the forum and chatting up a convo in the Tk.

What i would like to see in the future is the factual improvement of articles, I really like the fact that the new admin guys are posting more and more but they should make sure that their info is a bit more solid before posting an article ie. like issue with the games with gold/ps plus thread.

apart from that the site admin has always been top notch, from tinny, james right up to Jan, there has been a noticeable decline in the forum a few months ago but the past 2 months i doubt any one would complain for the sheer new amount of content the new guys are pushing here.

Just get jamie a new camera lol.

I like the sense of community. So many like-minded individuals that are always willing to help. I do enjoy reading random threads here and there. Only noticed now that there are guides and walkthroughs now so I'll definitely be on there while I'm doing my first play through of The Witcher 3.

It would be nice if MyGaming could organise some massive lans and or competitive leagues for some of the more played games. I.e. CS:GO and Dota 2, Battlefield etc. I'd love to get into the competitive scene!

The community is what makes it amazing. Content from users talking about the games they like, their experiences is what keeps me here.

I would love to see giveaways for community members who contribute with their own original content. Say for example monthly a game or vouchers or the like for the user who was contributed with the most interactive/thought provoking content. (Thread with the most responses as one of the criteria). It is always fantastic to have opinion pieces that get a conversation going!

I have recently subscribed, but have been following this website with interest for around a year. The Website is really easy to navigate, and I enjoy the ability to view specific news from a specific platform and/or interest at the top of every page. There is also a significant presence of the writers and editors within the forums which add a nice personal touch to the site.
When Comparing 'MyGaming' to an established gaming website such as IGN, I find that 'MyGaming' beats these websites purely from an ease of navigation factor and a simplicity factor.
From the review perspective: I enjoy how the authors of the reviews, don't make it solely about their experiences, but also give a point of view from the public, they clearly do their homework on everyone's opinions which gives the review a lot more validity. The reviews are very detailed and so are very useful to the consumer to read before purchasing a game.

What I would like to see more from 'My Gaming' Is forum discussions that stimulate various opinions on topics based on the past, present and future with gaming. It will be a useful tool for
a) users to share their frustrations/enthusiasms on games and consoles alike, and for
b) game developers to use the above to their advantage for feedback.

Another thing that I have constantly been looking for are updated game reviews. When Xbox, for example, releases a list of Games with Gold, I always go to reviews to see whether the game is worth downloading. What would make these reviews more worthwhile is if there are updated reviews that reflect the current world of gaming. So often there are games that have awesome reviews, but when it comes to downloading/purchasing them at a later stage, more often than not, I feel that the game feels a bit outdated in comparison to the latest titles that I have played. My suggestion is maybe creating a Games with Gold page or a PSN page that lists the free games, with a review whether its worth downloading or not.

I look forward to seeing what 'MyGaming' has to offer under the new team!

My favorite thing is the gaming events published. I'd like more of that, maybe an internet calendar per region so one can catch them all.

Thanks.

Hi :)

I would really like a myGaming podcast. I follow the Kinda Funny guys in the US however it will be really nice for a solid myGaming crew podcast. I feel this is a way to engage with members like myself who just browse the forum but would like a way to absorb gaming news in podcast form as work gets in the way of browsing forums.

Here's to another great year.

Been a member here since the start of My gaming. Mainly still around because of the people I've met here and because I like helping out in the hardware section.

Improvements to be made, the staff/admin whatever need to take part in the forum and discussions, not just post articles like bots. Show us what games you're into, take part in active threads, join us in game. In essence become part of the community.

My daily stop for a catch up session on what happening. But the article i look forward to the most is the whats coming up weekly \ monthly. Great way to see if something slipped though the cracks that one can look forward or to plan some off days :).

Search results when searching for articles can be improved to show more options. well that's all i have great site keep up the good work.
