What I would like to see is some personality added to the articles.
Yes, the articles are great, but everyone seems to be too scared to be politically incorrect.
You guys are running a gaming forum, not for presidency. :D
 
The community itself and the like minded people (mostly), I like the recent change to receive daily newsletters/updates - helps keep the site front of mind during a busy day.
 
I really like that this is the place to come to to find out ANYTHING about ANY problem regarding ANY high tech device from PC's, consoles, Pi's, Mobile devices - if you need to know anything, this is the place to find someone with the experience that is willing to help out.

What I'd like to see more of.. Not much to be honest, I come here for my daily dose of things that interest me and I'm quite happy with things the way they are :)
 
What I like most about this website is that its South African. It informs you about whats available here in SA such as different pc components & we all know theres a lot of tech not available here in SA. The game reviews and pricing are also helpful to us gamers because its abit annoying when you see biased reviews from other websites as well as prices in other currencies. I also find the forums helpful in getting to know other gamers and find soulutions to problems related to tech. The weekly gaming specials is a big yes!

The only problem here is that the website needs to categorize content and articles such as add a review section with sub reviews for ps3 ps4 x360 x1.
 
What I love about mygaming

Having a small community like this, we get to know each other better on another level and share/discuss similar interests in the gaming industry. The news articles are all mostly gaming related and saves me effort/time to go look for news on google, everything is always posted here whether it's just a copy and paste job or not. It helps to have all the gaming news on one spot, locally! Not only this but I love the fact that competitions are not as frequent as the other tech forum in SA, it makes you appreciate the site more.

Why I keep coming back and want to see more here

I will keep coming back here for the updates and news in and around the gaming industry and in some cases there are quite a few nice discussions happening in some threads, the contributions from the community is awesome.
Would love to see more in depth tech articles and reviews on gaming hardware, PC and console.


This is my most visited forum currently and it will stay this way, regardless if there's new management or not.

Keep up the great work keeping us informed about news and awesome things happening in the gaming industry!
 
What I like most is the community, as already mentioned.

I still chat and game with the guys here, and even though I don't post as much, I still read the threads regarding The Division and gaming hardware etc.

What I would like to see is possibly some hosted MyG gaming events. We have the Discord channel, so why not set up some MyG tournaments for fun? Winner gets a MyG tshirt or cap and we get closer as a community.

Hi gaming friends!

This is SUCH an epic competition!! I've been desiring a PS4 for such a long time now but have been out of work for a year and a half and struggling to even get to interview stages. The job market is TOUGH in SA at the moment, despite all my qualifications and experience! This would be SO awesome and a perfect gift for my birthday coming up on April the 13th!

I love this forum for so many reasons! Firstly, because it's civilized and orderly and everyone on here is friendly, professional and knows were all here to discuss the same thing. Many other forums totally go off-course, become really "kommin" and people start slinging insults at each other. Not here! Thanks for that guys! :)

Secondly, I love (personally) the chat about game nostalgia. I was reading some posts about Top games from the 80's and was awesome to know many of you had played the very same things that made my younger years awesome! Sierra games FTW!!!

Thirdly, the news!! I find that I get quite up-to-date just by spending time checking out the forums, feeds and news items! Saves me time trawling other stupid articles online. It's like a one-stop shop here!

Finally, I love the gaming forum and the ability to read up and get help about games and those freaking places you get stuck at! Thanks guys for this!

Then, finally, there's not much more I'd like to see but if you had to push me for something, I'd love more opinionated pieces also, as many people have said below. I love reading about someone's personal experience of an issue, item, game, tech, etc.

Great stuff. The articles are mostly good enough for me as they not to detailed and a broad variety.
The best deals are excellent and regular. Please keep that.

The fact that MyGaming is extremely up to date with all the current news happening in the gaming industry makes me very happy. It is also about how some of the old is mixed in at times, but would like to see like more retro stuff, just as a reminder where we all came from in terms of gaming. Other than that, best work ever and keep it up. Top Notch (Not a Minecraft reference)
 
I like the updates you provide from the tech industries, from the monstrous gaming laptops to helping me build my own budget PC. The reviews on games is great too whether upcoming or from the 80's, soo I'll come back any day for those.
 
I love the most: Forums, awesome community here with decent intelligent posts. What I would like to see more of: Decent reviews, of hardware and games and not just regurgitated from other sites.
 
like the competitions and in dept info that I can get here. Maybe Get some promotions going where we can get discounts on Tech when using MyGaming as a promo code or something like that.
 
What I enjoy most is the "Forum Community", and that the boss knobs (that's you [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION] ) are active and actually listen to the plebs (aka us)
 
What I like:

The easily navigable website with well written articles. I feel like most articles give new and relevant information on the gaming industry as well as some related content. I like that you guys keep the articles short and to the point where possible and include graphs/pictures for explanation purposes. It makes it easy to read and doesn't take too much time in everyone's busy, busy lives. The fact that your stories are written to include the South African context is also awesome and probably the main reason you guys exist.

What could be improved:

Some peolpe have mentioned that you are not particularly quick when reporting on some gaming news. I presume you guys don't have a huge team who can always scan the internet for the next big story so it is understandable. What would be nice is if you guys can increase the amount of articles by including more game reviews or interesting stuff about new games. It is a bit click baity, but that is what people like. Capitalise on new games by adding not just news, but also your own content!

Love the site! Been a member for quite a while now. Love to see some backflash articles. Like reviewing the older games and teaching the newer generation it not all about next gen.
 
I enjoy the game articles, but I'd like to get more ideas on comparisons with other games, user ratings and perhaps some ideas on pc builds (best budgets per month, that will be based on specials, deals available in local stores)
