*WINNER ANNOUNCED* Epic giveaway: Win a 1TB PlayStation 4

I like the community most. Often I skip straight to the forum page, and only get linked back to the front page by the posts about articles I find interesting.

Some things I'd change: Writers' participation in the forums. It seems to be changing now anyway, so you could probably disregard that.. So I'd say, ditch disqus and couple the front page/articles more strongly with the forums. Having two points of discussion is a bit pointless, IMO

You know what, i love the news i get from MyGaming, stuff you dont get anywhere else. What id like to see more of, lets get some old school classics up in here. Maybe like do a re-review on something like dungeon keeper or something, i think that should be fun yeah?

What I like most about MyGaming is the Community. The different views and opinions (and funky personalities :p) make it a great place hang out.

Alas, with my busy schedule I can simply read a Thread here and there and an Article 1 or 2. (For those who forgot, I am Iam3G - just recreated my profile).

What I'd like to see more? I can't really comment on this as I don't spend as much time on the site as I used to. But from what I can recall, you guys have it all covered :)

I really like the forum community, I don't post that often but when I do the other forumites are very helpful. Plus it's entertaining reading through some of the threads and seeing some of the guys' more "interesting" points of view.

Not really anything I think the site needs, keep up the good work and you''ll see me coming back again and again.

I enjoy the variety of articles here.
I would like to perhaps see some more (decent) articles of lists:
1) Top 10 free PS4 games
2) Top games of 2016...etc

Not the same lists each time, I enjoy the really random things.

Thanks!
Keep it up

This forum offers great insight into the world of gaming-the hype the excitement and the passion. Continuous sharing of gaming experience by the forum community members allows one to appreciate which games are the ones to go for based on your own appetite. A great way to assess where to spend your moolla!

You guys are always so informative and easily on par with most international websites. I look forward to waking up and checking whats the latest. Ya da best! Fo realz!!

Comrade

 I like the fact that I can win a PS4 that's awesome.
I would love to see a MyGaming COD blackops 3 League, that would be epic.

I keep coming back for the friendly regulars on the forums... Also I dunno where else to post my freebies I find and want to share ^_^

I love the fact that we have news at our finger tips and community forum. Would like to see more people joining MyGaming. Thanks so much :-)

I love the upcoming game section and the MyGaming community. It's not often you get to interact with other gamers. Congrats on the BEST gaming site in SA!

I've just joined the MyGaming Forum, but I really love how I can find any answer to my gaming problems, for example, answers to riddles in games and how to kill bosses. I also really love how the community is so friendly.

I would love to see categories of different games and problems to help make it more user friendly

I love the South African flavour of the site. Content is aimed towards locals and really makes the site feel like it's made for me.

I'd love to see more indie games covered. They are often cheaper (which is important in this economic climate) and dare to try new and interesting paradigms that AAA gaming is scared to try.

I'm usually pretty busy with either work or actually gaming, so I really like that I get relevant gaming news delivered straight to my inbox to keep me up to date on whats happening out there.

This is a really great community too. While I'm not as active on the forums as I'd like to be, I still enjoy reading a lot of the threads and getting local opinions on things.

It is great to have a website which offers more than just gaming reviews. The website is for me a hub for more than just reviews but also news and opinions both South African and International.
I would like to see more information around the growth of the South African market and articles and news about eSports and gaming in South Africa. Original gaming reviews written with fresh opinions would be great, I get tired of some of the international reviews which seem to be motivated more for advertising of games than actually breaking them down and deciding whether or not they are worth investing some time in.
Also, more detailed news around gaming events and specials in South Africa is always appreciated! Some blast from the past opinion pieces would also be a refreshing read! Good to get some perspective on how gaming has changed over the years!

The Good:
1. Overall, your site delivers content from hardware to software with decent reviews - albeit not that much in comparison to other sites
2. Clean design and easy navigation.
3. Ads and layout work well together - UX isnt hurt.
4. We respect that you are a relatively small publisher, but we want more.

The Nice-to-Haves:
1. Sorting system for titles and consoles with comparison options
2. A YouTube channel of you guys playing games and reviews (check JackFrags, LevelCap, FrankieonPC, Neebs Gaming)
2.1. Include your community and have top 10's and top 20's of anything
2.2. Studio/Office tour
2.3. More activity on your social platforms
2.4. Just more videos in general would be great for you guys
3. Bigger focus and reviews on Indie titles - Some great SA talent here to - can link with video channel
4. Openly see you guys in online game servers - BF4 for example
5. Promote local YouTube gaming channels and grow that community - Other publishers are missing opportunities here - look at affiliate related options here to.
6. As mentioned in other posts - more of your own content - Evergreen content is great for growing your site (ie. Top 10's, How to's etc)
7. List of all local Clans (sorting options include, titles played, rank in SA, location, recruiting) - give them their own full page profile which they can update and maintain and option to list their events/matches no matter how big or small. Social Media will help drive this nicely. Especially if you have your YouTube channel.
8. Events / Calendar page to support point 7.
9. All these points above isnt a great substitute for delayed content (in comparison to your competitors getting it out before you), but they make for great entertainment.

What I really love about mygaming.co.za is that it is a local site where I can get to speak to fellow South Africans about their experiences, frustrations etc with online gaming with various service providers etc. Also can get tips and advise about what consoles to buy and read about both positive and negative experiences with them. For example when PSN upped their pricing 2 years ago to almost double, it was nice to see what others had to say about it!

I've been a member going on 5 years now (boy do I feel unusually old ). What do I like? Well, I've always loved the idea that we have a team that doesn't feel detached from the community that keeps us updated on the news and events surrounding gaming internationally and locally, and the fact that our input matters in the grand scheme of things. I would honestly love to see a return of more op-ed content like features or opinion pieces. That's the type of stuff that drove thought provoking conversation in the comment threads and that well obviously flowed back into the forum.

Hi. Not going to lie I signed up to try win

Although not often I have been visiting the site for a while though mainly for the game reviews, as I have to do as much research with games being so darn expensive (it's like making an important life decision these days) and also reading threads in the forum helps for whatever problem I am having etc etc.

What I would like to see though is maybe like a 'This day in gaming history' or something.... and the visuals of the site seem a bit outdated, maybe spruce it up to be more pleasing on the eye
