We are giving away:

  • Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard

The keyboard features a non-slip rubber finish on its slim keycap keys. Back-lighting helps the keys stand out at dark LAN events. There are 3.5mm in/out audio jacks on the rear, alongside a USB port. Using the bundled Razer software, gamers can program macro-key combinations for use in complicated situations, such as MMO games. A media-keys touch-panel rounds off the package.

To enter the competition:

  • Post regularly
  • Create quality conversation topics
  • General forum activity, such as polls, calendar dates, awarding reputation to users for their comments, and rating thread.
  • Anything you do on the MyGaming forum will boost your activity score for the competition.
The competition closes at 11.00 on Thursday 13 June 2013, and the top 25 users will go into a random draw to pick the winner.

Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard with MyGaming

The newly implemented MyGaming activity system allows us to run competitions that reward the most active member(s) on the forum during a period of time.

For this competition, the top 25 active forum users stand a chance to win the Razer Hydra motion controller for PC.

The competition is now live and will close at 11.00 on Thursday 13 June 2013.

At the end of the activity run, a list of the 25 most active MyGaming forum members during that period will be posted. The winner of the competition prize will be drawn randomly from that pool.

Activity scoring criteria

  • Points for Posts
  • Points for Threads
  • Points for Thread Ratings Given
  • Points for Thread Ratings Received
  • Points for Polls Posted
  • Points for Poll Votes
  • Points for Reputation (Given)
  • Points for Reputation (Received)
  • Points for Referrals
  • Points for Social Group Messages
  • Points for Social Group Discussions
  • Points for Calendar Events
  • Points for Blogs
  • Points for Blog Comments

  • Negative Points for Infraction Points (Received)

How to Enter

Simply participating on the MyGaming forum will earn you points that go toward the competition.

The top 25 MyGaming forumites with the most points at the end of the activity run will be entered into the random draw.

Rules

- Conversation and feedback is welcome in this thread.

- Make sure you are up to speed with the MyGaming Forum rules - especially the rules related to competitions.

- Minimum of 20 lifetime posts required to qualify by time of the draw.

- Spamming to get yourself to 20 posts will get you disqualified.
- Spamming to earn points will get you disqualified.
- Quality conversational on-topic posts is the way to approach these requirements.

- Reviving old threads and making pointless posts will not be tolerated and will be monitored. Fair warning.

- Attempts to create multiple accounts to enter will be monitored.

- Entrants must be a resident of and residing in South Africa.

- Entry into the competition closes on Thursday 13 June 2013 at 11.00.

Winner announce

- On Thursday 13 June 2013, the winner will be announced.

- The winners will be announced in this thread, as well as in a new thread in the MyGaming competition forum.

- Reminders will be sent out via the MyGaming Twitter stream and MyGaming Facebook page.

I wouldn't mind getting one of these. I got a new gaming keyboard (Logitech G110) recently, but I'm not very happy with it at all.

Ja, I'm a fan of Logitech. I'm hoping to get a new keyboard soon, ideally I'd like to win one, but my posting levels on MyG are not very high, so that's unlikely.

Haven't blogged though - I might consider doing so if there was some exposure for the blogs, but they get a back seat on the forum, so I don't feel it's worth the effort.

I am in dire need of a backlit keyboard... what a coincidence, MyGaming is giving away a Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard. :):D
