Courtesy of our friends at Ster Kinekor Entertainment, we have 10 codes for the Darksiders II Digital Comic produced by Dark Horse Digital.

Death’s mission to slay a rogue demon is just starting out, but first he must acquire a replacement for his scythe, which he is forbidden to use on Earth without permission. In an underworld black market he strikes a deal—a leviathan’s tongue for a new weapon!

The comic was created in consultation with Joe Madureira’s Vigil Games, and provides a canonical introduction to the Darksiders II game.

The Dark Horse Digital comics app works on iOS and Android, and the comic can also be viewed online. It features a smart viewing system, that zooms and highlights the comic panels in a reader friendly manner, removing the annoyance of manually scrolling and zooming.

How to enter

Post a paragraph in this thread telling us about your experience with the Darksiders universe.

Rules

- Post once in this thread. This is your entry into the competition.

- Make sure you are up to speed with the MyGaming Forum rules.

- Make at least two posts a day from your time of entry. This will be checked when the winner is drawn.

- Minimum of 20 lifetime posts required to qualify by time of the draw.

- Entrants must be a resident of and residing in South Africa.

- Entry into the competition closes at 11AM, Thursday, 6 September 2012.

Winner announce

- On Thursday, 6 September 2012, the 10 winners will be chosen.

- The winners will be announced in this thread, as well as in a new thread in the MyGaming competition forum.

- Reminders will be sent out via the MyGaming twitter stream and MyGaming Facebook page.

I bought the first game on a recommendation from this forum and played the hell out of it. Planning on getting the second one too, as soon as I finish the first one. Also, I am a massive comic book fan and think that Darksiders will be an awesome fit to the medium.
 
I've had the honour and privilege of actually interviewing the lead creative developer of Darksiders, Joe Madureira for a game review and story. He is one of my ultimate inspirations in terms of digital and comic book art. I found the first Darksiders universe extremely enthralling and unlike anything seen before. I've yet to play the second game, but I plan to do so soon. It would be an absolute dream for me to get the Darksiders II digital comic, being a fan, avid gamer and artist!
 
Played the first 1! that is my type of game :D its like god of war ! with the gameplay . saw the 2nd one and looks awsome ! and seeing the END just made me want the 2nd 1:)
 
Was planning to play this game but at the time had no cash, but would really love to read the comics about it :D
 
Admittedly, I hadn't played a single minute of Darksiders, simply because I've never owned a copy "whistling:

But, I've seen footage of gameplay.. And it saddens me that I haven't yet played this game. Looks like hours of fun.
 
I have actually not played the game , wasnt really up my Alley but Comics I do love and if this gets me intrigued enough to play the game , then excellent
 
cool game, haven't finished the 1st one yet due to all the other games waiting in the steam library waiting for game time :( wouldnt mind reading the comics though

See, this is why I'm glad I discovered this forum.

I love comics, been reading them since I was a young un but lost touch in the last couple of years.

That preview looks awesome - would love to read the series - he'll, if I don't win it will buy it anyway.

Must check out the game as well.

Edit. Hah! Checked out YouTube. Prince of Persia in the Dark side Universe - how cool is that!
