Assassin's Creed for me. What an amazing game. Changed the way 3rd person games were thought of or made.

GTA III, has been the most game i have always enjoyed playing, great story line that has a touch of real life events, most gaming hours & missions that never end creating that zeal & enthusiasm to finish the game or look forward to the next mission, everyday i always look forward to greater challenges & missions. I would definitely love to own all the GTA games/titles. More recent games like Sleeping Dogs have adapted to the GTA feel, touch & genre. Greatest game i will always have in my collection.

Half Life 2 did it for me. I played it on PC and when it came out on Xbox I relived all the good memories.

This was a really difficult choice for me. Between Assassins Creed, Mass Effect 1 and Half-Life I spend countless hours and they were all really great games and unique in their own ways.

In the end, I chose Half-Life 2. I can write a novel about how remarkable this game was, but its prestigious awards speaks louder than words.

Star Wars, KOTOR. It was the first game I played where I could see my choices influencing the team around me. Super evil = zombie looking, super good = smug bastards. Plus, lightsabers! It was also the first game I finished twice with total different playing styles just to see the differences in ending. The Sith way was loads more fun...

I voted KOTOR. Game was just amazing, and I probably played it through more than 10 times with different paths each time.

I chose half-life 2 from the list, but I would have liked to see a few more golden oldies... Things like XCOM - UFO defense come to mind.

Half-Life hands down from that list. Great FPS and awesome story. When CS came out for lanning based on HL I was absolutely addicted to it too. What a game, I played for hours upon hours. Unbelievable.

Planescape: Torment wasn't on the list, so I had to settle for my second favourite of all time: Baldur's Gate II.
