Courtesy of our friends at distributor Silverscreen Trading, we have two copies of Alan Wake PC Special Edition to give away.

The Special Edition contents include:

- Disc 1: Main game plus both DLCs - "The Signal" and "The Writer".
- Disc 2: OST of the game including 13 Tracks (Audio-CD).
- 6 Post cards with different pictures/scenes from the game.
- Game manual.
- 1 poster (printed on both sides).
- 7 stickers with different pictures/scenes/characters from the game.

How to enter

- Post a paragraph in this thread telling us why you are suitably equipped to survive the psychologically tormenting nasties found in the darkness of Bright Falls.

Winner announce

Two winners will be chosen on Wednesday 25 April 2012, at 11AM. Friday marks the start of a long-weekend, so be sure to check back if you want a new game to play.

If the prize is not claimed by Monday 30 April 2012, a new winner will be chosen at 48 hour intervals until claimed.

Omg this is an awesome giveaway would love to win. The reason i am suitably equipped to survive the psychologically tormenting nasties is well, hmmm. I have a degree in psychology and finishing forensic investigation! Yeh, investigation :!!! Would love to try out this game. Googogogogo luck be with me :)

I am suitably equipped to survive Bright Falls. I have a flash light and some flares :p
I also survived silent hill so this will be easy for the Tsar :p
 
Because im already psychologically tormented and therefore Bright Falls shall not damage my already fragmented and possibly non-existent psyche :D

Great compo again, James.

I'll easily survive everything Alan Wake can throw at me since:
* I grew up with scary games like Alone in the Dark and Blood.
* I played Amnesia this one time, and only pee'd myself a little, once.
* It's been on my Steam Wishlist for quite a while now.
* I can scream loudly, like a little girl, to block out all the scary noises the game produces.
* I browse reddit. All of reddit. Even /r/spacedicks.

Wow, what a comp! Obviously I am suitably equipped to survive the psychologically tormenting nasties found in the darkness of Bright Falls. I have a light switch in my computer room...which I can easily switch on to rid me of the fear. Unlike Toxin, my bathroom is only a few steps away - which is enough, I hope.

I will survive because fear and terror fuel me with adrenaline that will no doubt prove useful when dealing with whatever terrors the Alan Wake world thinks it can throw at me...

I've been to Silent Hill multiple times and every time I've returned home unharmed, well sort of :D. So this is why I'm suitably equipped to survive the psychologically tormenting nasties found in the darkness of Bright Falls.
 
I'm the sort of person that doesn't easily admit to being scared when I am into a movie. From that I feel have built a strong mask to protect myself from the scares and horrors that anything like this can throw at me... Or so I think.
As far as the game is concerned honestly I have never played any horror games. I have been wanting to broaden my horizons for a while and see what is out there and this one seems pretty good so send it my way.
 
Because I have simply been waiting to play this game for like EVER! I almost went so far as to buy a freagin Xbox just for one game. Then I heard rumours it was coming to PC and I almost flipped.

So why and how will I survive? Due to sheer desperation, doggedness and absolute will to play this game!
