ah, for a moment i thought there was no way i would get to number one... and then i saw its the top 40 that goes into a draw :P now i feel i might have a slim chance of actually being considered to stand a chance of participating, let alone win!

Well with the activity points still not working I wonder if we will make the top 40 :(.
 
The running results for the activity contest are actually not recommended for use because they are resource intensive and I don't think the system is handling the constant stream of activity updates very well. It's designed for something like a running list of 5 to 10 users - not 80.

This is one of the reasons I was leaving it disabled previously.

I want to see how it performs over the next fews day, but I don't think we should be relying on it heavily as an indicator of contest activity progress; something is not working too well.

However, it does seem reflective overall of activity level rankings, as it correlates with daily stats (taking into account excluded criteria).

The final points list generation should hopefully go off without a problem when the contest ends.

Was handling it fine for a long time until now, has the activity increased way more than before?

Is my activity reading fine on your side and how much?
 
Great compo, James!

The activity part is a nice touch, but does it include TK posts? (Not trying to stir, I just haven't been on much in the last month and a bit)
