Hmm, I am a little confused, on the Mygaming forums the PC section is the more popular one compared to the console variety of thread. I know its not up to MyGaming but how come there is one for pc and 2 on each of the others if PC has the highest interest here?
^Just a lil query :)

Anyways, I really want this game, it really is looking very very promising. Favorite moment would be getting the FZR2000 and beating my friends in there McLaren in NFS 2SE

Exactly look at what EA made and then check Slightly mad studios and Criterion

Also my best moment was racing 30 laps at Spa and then switching over to the F1 race. Then there was the Run with that avalanche, nearly had a heart attack there and then any racer take down event in Hot Pursuit with a Helicopter. But still my best was racing in underground 2 in an SUV to make a magazine cover shoot. :)

Personally, I wouldn't agree with that, but, then again... I haven't played the new one, so I cannot make any judgments yet.
But from what I've seen, it doesn't look like a successor, just a next-gen remake, with a few tweaks and changes. And a different developer.

We're all entitled to our own opinions. :)
 
I have all three of the platforms but prefer the PS3 controller for racing games, so if I should happen to win I will take a PS3 copy please, if possible. :)
 
I'm glad Criterion Games made this year's NFS. I think they have managed to improve NFS, and getting it closer to the map. I really hope Criterion Games from now on makes future NFS games.
 
Love the "Illegal" NFS Games, My best experience must have been in Underground 2: In a neck and neck race with the AI where where we where both trying to shove each other off the road, when the road split the lanes with a solid barrier and I managed to shove the AI into a head on collision with aforementioned barrier while I speed ahead to win the race.

Second would be playing the final race in the latest Hot Pursuit with the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, did 75km in 13:30 minutes, coming first.
 
I played every need for speed ever made. Except for nfs nitro. BTW NFS undground 2, NFS2 and Porche unleashed was the best ones ever made. I loved the factory driver mode.

I remember my brother said. WOW check this new cool racing game. so realistic etc etc. That was NFS1.

Played every NFS ever made as well. Most wanted was the best but the single moment that will stick with me forever is the Skyline GTR I built in Underground 1. Was able to do the quarter mile in 5.1 seconds. That and the EVO on Underground 2 able to hit 430kph with NOS of course. The unique upgrades made beast cars.

I will also never forget the first time I played NFS on our Pentium 1 90mhz. The black Porsche 911 Turbo and its insane oversteer, doing donuts on the Alpine track over and over again. Good times.
 
The original NFS Most Wanted is still one of my favourite games on console.

I loved NFS 1 where you could use the Lambo and do a handbrake 360 turn in the air on the 2nd hill of the alpine track. NFS2 was a bit weird and not in a good way - and I also didn't particularly enjoy Pro Street, but every title in between which I've played has been simply fantastic! Endless LAN nights drag racing Underground1 !
