What would the changes be of getting the glasses as prescription glasses?

According to the site -- "GUNNAR eyewear is prescription compatible"
I have a feeling most of the people on the site already have to wear glasses every day.

I use a pair at work because I really struggled with eye strain. As a programmer I'm in front of the computer most of the time. The Gunnars were a revelation for me. My eyes just don't get tired anymore.

Could this totally replace my existing pair of prescription glasses?
 
I know Titan-Ice will send your gunnar's with your prescription to the main company and they give you the gunnars with your prescription.


I am looking for a shop tho where I can try the different frames out before I buy my gunnars.

Wow. That's cool. I'm not a fan of that piss-coloured lenses though. :P
 
See its for indoor use only, I dont need precription lenses in front of my pc, only for driving and going to the movies.

But I borrowed a friend's pair and now I NEED a pair of gunnars. I want to get it with my xmas bonus. It is well worth the money. And they have come down in price a lot.

Titan-ice have some available in store if I'm correct. I would love to get myself a pair also.

Not true unfortunately.


I asked them and they said they could not.As far as i know the Gunnar classes are nothing more then anti-glare and some tint.

I spoke to someone at Rage this year - I was trying on the glasses they had there, and we asked about prescription glasses and the guy said that they do sort it out for us.
