New witcher footage is always good imho.

The Witcher 2 - Internal Gameplay Video

A gameplay video of The Witcher 2 has apparently been leaked, offering over 5 minutes of Alpha gameplay footage with voiceover from CD Projekt's Marcin Iwinski. Despite the "internal use only" warnings, the form and presentation is clearly designed as a promotional tool, so perhaps it was released early but it definitely looks designed for public consumption.
Upgraded graphics, new day/night cycle, NPCs with independent motivations, NPC responses to the player's actions, combat quick-time-events and Havok physics are all shown or discussed - this is well worth a look.
Thanks to imnotaperv, who berates us for our lack of omniscience in not posting this earlier.

Has anyone watched this yet? Does it look any good? I can't watch streaming stuff on the work's pc so i'll have to wait till tonight to check it out. I can't wait for this game. The Witcher is my no. 2 game of all time :D
 
It looks great. Graphics are update. Voice acting if a bit of but I think that will be fixed as they progress since this is only alpha build. Combat looks good as well.
 
Awesomess!!! I can't wait to get home to check it out (unfortunately that's only in another 7 hours) :( I just hope, CDProjekt Red continue working on Rise of The White Wolf for the consoles, I would love to replay The Witcher on my PS3. Hopefully they also release Witcher 2 on PS3, otherwise I'm gonna have to upgrade my PC ...

I watched the polish series (Die Wiedzman) a while back and it tells quite a bit of background stories on the white wolf.
 
This is great - really enjoyed the first one. I can't follow the links atm, is there indication of a release date given? 2010? 2011?

Nope. They are currently looking for a publisher but that shouldn't be an issue seeing as how successful witcher was.

Where did you get Die Wiedzman? I WANT IT!!! I have lots of The Witcher stuff: both the original and enhanced edition, a huge poster, both novels that were translated into English so far and I even have a witcher tattoo on my wrist (the wolf's head symbol). :D I actually want to order the Polish movie (The Hexer) from Take2, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I pulled it from PirateBay ... it's budget production, but for pure storyline it was actually pretty damn awesome.

They even showed the whole process of turning the young boys into witchers etc. And there's also the episode where he caught the Striga.
 
The only way Geralt could possibly be ghei is if he's eventually gotten bored with the copious amount of poen he's hit through his career.
