Witcher 2 Enhanced Patch... Who started downloading ?

It's just disgusting that CPR couldn't write a proper patcher/downloader themselves and worst is that their own advice is go GOG route. Seriously. o well it's done now

Yeah... I downloaded the pre-patcher while I was away (put my computer to work and left) and only had time to look at it a couple of weeks later when I wanted to start playing. I was not a happy camper when I had to re-download the whole 15Gb (I think) patch.
I've played it with the patch installed and had quite a few game crashes and other issues. Not sure if it is due to the patching that was horrible or just the game itself. Which is why I downloaded the full EE just for good measure. Will use that for my next playthrough.

Yeah tell me about it. I think I'm going to write my own downloader to see how hard it is to add proper rollback, resume, crc and md5 checking in.
