Amen brother, finished Witcher1/2 including all DLC's on the hardest difficulties. I will pre-order this title no problems

Remember the olden days (5 years ago) where we paid R100 to R150 for 15 hours of content called "expansion packs". Good times.

I am still yet to finish the first 2 yet I love both of them. Definitely my favourite unfinished games. Will be buying this as long as my pc can run it and the free dlc is definitely one of the added reasons why this company is one of my favourites.

I do wonder the reason why they do free dlc instead of just delaying the game with dlc already in it. Usually the dlc is there to make the company more money but when it is free and comes after release it does become a bitter sweet thing when I am still on capped internet.

1 is still slightly better than 2 in my book ;-)
But 2 is absolute gorgeous

CD Project gets my respect too, for no DRM, and of course GOG.com. Free DLC -- the only other people I know of who are doing that nowadays is Interceptor Entertainment with their new ROTT game.

I should really play a Witcher game some time.

I will still get this even though I thought the story in 2 was a bit flo and disjointed compared to 1. That the DLC is free is a very cool bonus and something more companies should do now and then imo.

Well if your DLC includes a new character with a whole new story why would you include that in the witcher 3 instead of giving it as DLC. I'm thinking its all about options and freedom.

Frozen Thrones springs to mind and the Titan Quest expansion mmmmmmm Immortal Throne!
