Women's Protea e-Sport team secures 2nd, 4th places at IeSF

Were they just competitors who happened to be women or are there specific sections for men and women? I find it strange why you would need to separate genders for e-sports.

Yeah I was also wondering why we need to separate out men and women for e-sports. Perhaps the dominance of the men means no ladies stand a chance at this stage, so at least by separating the event the ladies get a chance to shine as well.
