World of Warcraft players can now opt-in to the Cataclysm beta

Added my Battle.net account for consideration yesterday.. Ticked all the boxes as recommended. - Not sure how likely it would be though Considering my level of gear, last played date etc etc.

I am excited for Cataclysm though. Will be good to return to Azeroth once more.

download the tester.

test.

and select what you want to be in.

Agree with MrG. I stopped playing sometime last year and wanted to give it a shot again just 2 weeks ago, but then realised that in essence nothing changed and that it wasn't worth going back for.

Cataclysm might change that though

I guess I am not really the Beta kind of guy. Just going to wait till Cataclysm and then maybe go back to Azeroth to check out the devastation
