World of Warcraft microtransactions in the works

I'm curious about what transactions will be available. In the past with Blizzard store, they didn't want a player to be able to buy an advantage, for example, by better gear from the store.

If they are keeping that stance, then the stuff you can buy will probably be transformation items, statless armor used for transmog and that kind of thing.
 
This is really nothing new, not instead of buying cosmetics/mounts from the blizz website they will just be able to buy it in-game. Lotro has a similar thing with their in-game browser, but you can buy all kinds of boosters ( xp/mana/hp/hope etc ) with destiny points which you earn by leveling up. Although I must say I welcome that idea, really comes in handy when leveling alts.

Nah they would never sell real gear, then you might just as well play on a private server. I'm thinking more stuff to help you level like buffs or something.
