I had actually left to just do that :D!
I went and looked and no one had stock at the mall closest to me, but the BT-Games and IC has stock in Eastgate, so I am going there this week sometime to pick up one :D! Thanks for all the help guys!

P.S. Any CoD players on the 360?

With prices so cheap on both consoles its a sin not to own both......

Besides chosing one camp over the other you only robbing YOURSELF at the end of the day, no one else
 
Only reason I'd purchase an Xbox is for Gears of War... The xbox game I actually really like that dosent come out on other platforms :D
 
Actually wanted to qoute Viking's reply to my original post, but my stupid phone doesn't wanna play along. So this is in reply to him:

I'm not a Gears fan. I played both the previous games and while I enjoyed them I won't touch them ever again. Mighy get no. 3 eventually when it's cheap.

:D GETTIT! My xbox is used only for streaming media and the likes and I still reckon its worth it. With the amount of money we save by not having DSTV, it pays for itself in a couple of months. I'm a PC gamer just because I preffer mouse and keyboard but play the odd xbox game when the time is right or I rent some or something. Still worth it. Oh, and when I'm in hospital for whatever reason... its much easier to get my mum to bring a screen and my xbox for entertainment than a whole pc with everything else :P (not that I've done that yet but I will one day :))
 
I would say that spending several thousand Rand for the sole purpose of playing one game is reckless, but perhaps you aim to recoup most of your money by selling said console once you have finished Gears 3. Unless you have more money than you know what to do with.

Ultimately though it is up to you.

True that. Although I have to admit, the MP for Gears 3 does look pretty damn awesome. If I didn't have to buy Dark Souls and RAGE two weeks after Gears' release date I might have let my curiosity get the better of me.
 
I haven't been able to make it to eastgate today, but BT-Games is bringing me a 250gig 360 to the mall close to me :D! Gotta love BT-Games!

Anyone wanna show me the ropes of LIVE :o?

U mean the store..? If so:

Pretty straight forward.. Ul catch on as soon as you see it..:) I'm not sure if PS3's is a pain but I found that it's very simple to use..:)

Yeah I mean to the BT-Games near me, I will be collecting it as soon as it arrives and I will be getting Gears 3 at midnight :D!

yeah 250gig. It was only R700 more than the 4gig, and from what I read you can't change HDD's on the Slim, so if I really take to the 360 I'm pretty much fucked when it comes to getting more games...
