This is exactly how I foresaw it. Blizzard will slowly start to strangle the market and i pray to the gods of gaming that they don't put a fee on Diablo 3. if they do, I will personally pipe bomb their offices.

They games is already to expensive for me.
I would pay off a game but not "lease" it.
