Oky wait hang on. I have to care about a developer who will not exist very soon, who has made 2 of the best selling fps games in history, who's main employees has all left for EA and so on, who's sold 20 million copies of mw2. So excuse me for not caring about a developer who is fighting for some bonuses. Hey wait i didnt get a bonus or raise this year because our department didnt make a certain target but i myself does deserve a bonus. But do you care?

There will always be someone else or another developer to make games.

I thought the pirates' attitude was more one of kidnapping innocent travelers and then holding them for ransom? Or hijacking other vessels?

But seriously though, nobody here cares that I've just had a 10% pay cut or that at least 2 of my mates have been retrenched. And I don't expect you to. It's not your problem, just like the dispute between Activision and the other dudes. The other dudes have already formed a new company and will make games again. And they will not struggle to find someone to publish it etc. Activision will also continue to produce and whatever games. So we the gamers do not lose anything.
