Just a few tips:
The normal quests they give you after the dailies (normally 5 more of <insert item here>) requires you to actually "prepare" the item then and there. I made the mistake of making 25 thinking I can just immediately hand in which wasn't the case.
For the daily run, to minimize your effort, start with Stormwind. Buy 20 ripe pumpkins, pick up the 2 quests and then go kill Turkeys until you have 20 for slow-roasted turkey daily.
Then fly (or portal or whatever) to Ironforge. Buy 20 cranberries, pick up the dailies and then make the Spice Bread Stuffing/Slow-Roasted Turkeys right there and hand in.
I usually portal to Moonglade and then fly to Rut'theran Village but get your ass to Darnassus any way you like

Buy 20 Teldrasil Potatoes (? I think, typing from memory). Pick up the daily, make the Pumpkin Pie, hand in and then go back to Stormwind to hand in the last 2 dailies.
That's the easiest I've done it in. With a Ring of Kiron Tor which can portal me back to Dalaran and my hearth set to Dalaran I did this without using the ring (because I could go to Moonglade easy peasy being a Druid)
For the Turkenator achievement, the best spot I found was in Venomwood Vale just south of the Scarlet Monestary in Trisfal Glades, in fact, they have a lot more Turkey than Elwyn Forest IMO but it could just be because SW is a bit over crowded.
