There are some guys planning to start a garden route wug, speak to kilos on mybroadband forum - he is one of the okes there. Maybe you can help - know some people that can provide space for highsites.
It's a community project. Start small and keep expanding. PTAWUG started with 4 users, now we have 593 online in just over 2 years :)
 
Nothing active as far as I know. No one wants to take the initiative and start something up. Remember - a wug starts with 2 or 3 guys linking to each other and expands from there.
 
hahah cool might just put one up there to test it out.

Atm I am stuck where nobody is even close to me and there is no los to my friend.
 
Ohh, still in Durban, ok.
If you can get access to the big TV/radio tower in KBY you can cover the whole town, easily, that tower is k*k hoog.

Not that it would kick off - the people here are swak about those things...

EDIT: Though if you guys want, I'll help with time and what money I have... it would be nice to give other people the option...
 
a wug starts with 2 people linking to each other, the rest will follow. Kimberley is mos lekker plat. Should not be too difficult, easy LOS. If you can get access to that huge concrete tower it will be super easy to cover the whole town/city.

Sure but the problem is most are still running windows 95/98 here. So it would be like 4 guys in the whole of kimberley lol.
 
I'm very interested in getting this. I don't know enough about it to decide to get on getting one tho :/
