Xbone or Ps4

Sucked how? I find it amusing how a game can mysteriously suck (performance wise) on one console so badly that they won't play it, without having played it on any other console. I don't think the performance or graphics are that noticeable between the two, however Vanilla vs. Taken King is a big difference, but that has nothing to do with performance of the consoles.

the gameplay sucked, which in turn caused me to suck. on the PS4 it plays better. it just does. can't explain it. but I suck a lot less on the PS4. the gun play seems... smoother

I can explain it. It's a well documented condition called "fanboyism" that you are suffering of. Destiny plays EXACTLY the same on either console, but your built in bias for the PS4 lets you feel that it's a bit better on it. That and the fact that you may be better with the Dual Shock controller than the Xbox One controller.

No dude, that's just the thing. I like the XBox. I had a X360, which I was forced to sell long ago. I LOVE the xbox controller, if I could I'd be using one on my PS4.

Then you cray cray bro....

I stopped playing Destiny as it got boring for me, but I never felt the gameplay being bad. In fact I've always thought of it as really smooth and pin-point accurate. It felt like Halo, which I love. But I'm not one to grind out levels and stuff, so I lost interest in it.
