Hey Hey

A total noob here... but need some advice.

Family friend's son has an Xbox 360 Arcade, and it reads CDS but no DVDs or game DVDs... where can a replacement drive be purchased from in Cape Town ?

I did a bit of Googling and quickly got confused as it appears that there is more to it than just replacing the drive... and I have zero console experience.

All advice and any assistance will be very much appreciated. Help this noob please !!

If the warranty is still in place, you can replace it (I don't think so, because they don't make Arcades anymore. Otherwise you'll have to replace the drive.
Unless you know something about consoles, I'd recommend going to someone who does repairs on consoles. BT used to do them, not sure if they do anymore.

No warranty.... old console it is.

Will give BT a buzz... thanks. Just trying to find a drive at the moment.

No problem.
Up here in Gauteng, we have some other places, like Games Xetra who does this type of thing. I am not sure what the Western Cape counterpart for them are.
