XBOX 360 Headset recommendations?

My xbox 360 headset was unceremoniously trashed last week (how I do not know but it involved someone who helps with cleaning etc.) and now I'm in need of a new one.

Mine was the old school wired headset and mouth piece but now I see there are a few different models about. Can anyone recommend a decent headset?

Budget R300-R400 at a push.

I'm using a Razer Chimaera headset for my x360, was around 2,5k

please note I do LOVE my headset, it's just not worth it tho...

So GO cheap, you won't regret it!
 
If you're just looking for something like the one that comes with the console, then maybe this for R110.
Cheap and nasty, but probably about the same as what you get with your xbox.

This looks pretty cheap for a actual headset though (R480), and people do like Turtle Beach. It's still very entry level, but you can get game audio and chat through it.

I have a set of Tritton AX-180's, which I really like. They are just stereo, and wired, but they sound great, and they aren't too expensive (R855 at Zaps). They also work on PS3 and PC

ya looks awesome but its just over my budget and I really just want to communicate. Was going to order from takealot but just got back from Incredible who had a headset and chatpad combo for R400.00
