Xbox 360 question

Hi guys.

I hope this is the correct place to ask.

We had a lightning strike, and my son's Xbox 360 was one of the lucky winners.

I have a few questions:

The power brick has an orange light. Also the console power light comes on for a second and then goes off.
I am not to worried about this, insurance is giving me a new one.
The main concern is he has all his saved games and stuff on the hard drive.
Is it possible to copy this from the drive to an external and back to the new one? Or if it is only the power brick that went, to backup all his data to the cloud, assuming I can get a power brick and the console is not fubar.

Thanks.

It sounds like the power supply is bad. With any luck the brick took the full lightning strike and saved the console.
Source a new brick and test it.
If you still want to transfer your saves to the new console there will be plenty info online.
