Xbox 360 VS PS3

By the time this thread dies, GT5 will have come and gone, but so will Duke Nukem Forever... I like both my babies okay there I said it.

I love both mine.... but that doesn't mean i dont accasionally want to kick one of them :p
 
Sis man you've got to love them equally otherwise they grow up saying Daddy always favoured you ;-), lately actually my PSP has been getting more game time then the PS3 or 360
 
Just got optical cable for my ps3, what an awesome experience :D Has anyone added something to their ps3 that really changed the experience (in a good way)?

Love the PS3 coz its the only device i have... Must say though: Played the XBox 360 for the first time on the weekend and once you get used to the controls, its quite a strong contender...
 
I have had a PS3 for 3 months now and I think its a great console. Having spent quite a lot of time on an Xbox360 I reckon it has a far superior controller (PS3's sixaxis isn't even used that much), but in terms of performance the PS3 beats xbox hands down.

I will probably end up buying a 360s in the coming months, to play exclusives like Forza. I bought the PS3 pretty much for GT5 and LBP.

without actually owning one and if you didn't own both how can you be sure that PS3 is the superior console?

I have both and would have to disagree. Sure the PS3 has some awesome exclusives but as does the Xbox. PS3 has awesome media center functionality while the Xbox has a way better live system. Xbox controller is better than PS3.

Any reasonable person would say they are both equal since most people but this dead horse debate to bed years ago.

It's subjective. I find the PS3 controller to be much better than the Xbox one, but that could just be due to me using dual shock since the PSOne. The Xbox has much better trigger buttons, I give it that much, but I find the Dual Shock shape and layout to suite me better.

Agreed I guess it is subjective. The level placement of sticks and the weak weight and shape bugs me, it doesn't sit comfortably in my hands.
 
So there's rumours going around that the PS3 might see a price cut after E3 this year due to Sony's huge financial losses as the company as a whole and also with increased competition from the successor to the Wii.

There shouldn't be an argument any longer on which is better, they both rock, though my Xbox still gets a little more love.
