Xbox 360 VS PS3

Following on from what Omega said : On the controller alone, I know several people that are still rather opting for an Xbox, despite the new competitive price points. The fact that you can get converters that make the Xbox controller PS3 compatible should be enough of a testamonial for them.
 
It has been confirmed. Xbox wins console war because Xbox get L4D2 and PS3 gets nothing. Bwahahahahaha.

Yeah i guess those count but then there is Splinter Cell conviction, also hexbox exclusive and isn't mass effect 2 also xbox only?
 
Indeed it is, Omega. I was supposed to have seen Mass Effect on my friend's Xbox last weekend, but we ran out of time owing to a marathon NAG DVD video viewing session.

Heavy Rain is another one of those eagerly anticipated games which does not appeal
to me. It comes down to personal taste, as you said.
I tried GOW but found it too hard.
I have found out that Armoured Core 4 was also released for the HexBox:one less reason
to game on PS3 so far as I am concerned.
 
And then there is also Uncharted 2, with an average of 96% all over the net. :p

And if anyone says that they're not intersted in playing Uncharted 2 then they should go get a cat scan because it is one of the best games ever made.

Also L4D sucks :p

Another brilliant PS3 exclusive that everyone should at least try once is Demon's Souls. One of the best RPG's ever made (Dragon Age will probably be better in some ways, but Demon's Souls is in a class of its own)

Long live XBox. Im happy ive got Marcus Fenix on my side, he's got a slightly higher testosterone dose than Solid Snake and Mr. Drake put together.

LOl, I hear what you'rer saying man, but Demon's Souls really is that good. I have been a PC only gamer untill about 3 months ago when I got my PS3 and RPG's are by far my favourite genre of games. I still play Titan Quest, Sacred 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, The Withcer and other RPG's every now and then, but none of these can compare to Demon's Souls. Its just in a class of its own, there is no other game like it. No other game I have ever played has been both this punishing and rewarding at the same time.

Yeah everyone I suggested it to sings similar praises.

I did not have a PS3 at the point when Zaps brought some in and now that I do I cannot get a copy. Pretty glad the US / EU release it pretty soon. I have not even played this game and I know it rocks HARD! And I am not an easy one to please ;)

Oh and since my 360 RROD'd and I got myself a PS3...

PS3 > Xbox :p

Must say the lineup and this years releases really made the PS3 shine for me! Seems they are finally playing catchup with quality titles. Initially I would tell everyone to go Xbox since they had the best game roster, but now PS3 is looking amazing and it is just a more robust system than the 360.

It's allready out in the US and as far as I know it's not going to be released in the EU regions anytime soon. I would suggest trying to get an Asian version as I've heard that they've toned down the difficulty in the US release, not sure whether this is the case or not. Also, you can most probably find an Asian copy on the ps3za forums, there's usually someone willing to sell/trade it on there.

Is that the failure rate for launch models, or does it refer to Jasper models
and beyond.

So you're saying that the benefit of Bluray game discs is that they can
contain more lengthy CG cut scenes?

A capacity of 4.7Gb is still plenty for a game:PCs seem to be doing nicely
with that amount of storage per disc.

Is there anything to stop the 360 reading 8.5Gb DVDs, by the way?
 
i can see u are all just xbox 360 fanboyz and i admit xbox is a good console im just not happy that every1 i know who has 1 has a brocken console now u guys gota admit that xbox does break and i admit that ps3 is beter is so many ways eg free psn a web browser and we dont have to get a aproved harddrive if we want upgrade ours look i like xbox and it is fun all im saying is ps3 to me is better
