Everyone has said to me that the xbox controller is better, but after so many years of using a ps one i don't like it... Must say it's fun to plug into the pc and game with it though. little ninja's RULE!

Not really man...i'm just saying that for me...the exclusive titles were the deciding factor. God of War and GT5 are the two in question...oh and Hard Rain.

You have it the wrong way round, old bean:Us Xboxers do not get to enjoy a local Xbox Live service, whereas PS3 owners can at least download content using local bandwidth.

They are both good machines. It just depends on which exclusives you want to play. [and some of us enjoy having the best of several worlds ;) ]

yeah thats true, but my problem with the ps3 is for the price your not really getting much more for you buck, compared to the xbox.

You also have a larger xbox gaming market in SA, which leads to iether friends with games you can borrow, or buy some second hand xbox games at a pretty good price.... if you're lucky... haven't seen as many PS3 games, but both are over priced.

And lastly - PROJECT NATAL!!! i know it wont be as cool as the vids microsoft has released, but still, pretty sure it will kick the wii's ass.

Both a brilliant machines.... but i'm starting to think they both starting to lag a little behind PC's

Price, not getting much? Sorry take your goggles off mate.
PS3 is much better value than the Xbox, what exactly makes the Xbox better value? There isn't even proper Live support in SA, also the retail game prices for both PS3 and Xbox games are more or less the same.

There is a thriving PS3 community in SA where games are traded and sold for great prices and then you go on saying its Lagging behind PC's? Geez, fanboy of note.

We can all agree they're great machines but stuff you stated makes no sense to me at all
 
i still say if you can afford it, get both. the exclusives on each console makes both a worthy purchase.
