Xbox 360 VS PS3

Lets just say this...Microsoft owned Sony at E3..Sony's releases were pathetic.

Looking at my Ps 3 now..thinking of turning it into a door stop.

seriously folks. each one has benefits and downsides.

both are good consoles :)

MS just punted Kinectic casual crap and gimmicks

Only good game shown was Gears 3, really disappointed in what they had to offer

I own a x360 a ps3 and my mate owns a wii, Yes I hate the wii, Shit graphics, crappy motion control ect.

Oh and this thread is entitled X360 vs Ps3. No where does it say discuss the wii or Nintendo.

I agree, Nintendo owned all 3 cause both Sony and MS were too busy punting motion controls.
3DS is looking awesome and looks to have some hardcore appeal.

Maybe he should give some reasoning behind his statement and again...This is the X360 vs Ps3 thread. How many times do I need to repeat myself.
He is just looking to stir.
Oh and btw Kinetic is amazing, a million times better than Nintendo's miserable attempt at motion control.

The 3DS looks cool but it still doesn't beat the psp. Unfortunate but true.

This is really one dumb argument to start with. Someone has probably said this before, but as I'm not prepared to read 98 pages of mine is better than yours rants, I will say this, they are both good consoles and both have advantages and disadvantages. I think that unless you own both, you can't really deliver an opinion. Or at least have played many, many hours on both and even then, it's still a matter of opinion.

There are many such polls regarding tech hardware and they are all stupid. Is Intel better than AMD, or ATI better than Nvidia?

Which should you buy? The one you prefer most after experiencing both. Simple.

Too bad you HAVE to stand while playing with the kinect, and the voice recognition on kinect has problems, even with non-accented people at ambient conditions.
Lol, PSP trumping 3DS is your opinion right? Because the DS owns the PSP in terms of sales and software, and thats a fact. 3DS just buries the PSP.

You just seem to be spewing useless babble, the PSP is a good handheld but the DS pawns it in software and hardware as BigKahuna has said.
In fact the DS is practically printing money for Nintendo.
Whats amazing about Kinectic? The fact that it doesnt recognizes your posture when you sitting down?
Its a gimmick like all motion controllers, enjoy your the Wii Sports rip-off.
Nintendo's "miserable attempt" at motion controls still inspired Sony and MS to jump on the bandwagon and the Wii is still miles ahead of the PS3 and 360 in sales so it might be miserable to you but for Nintendo its turned out to be a gold mine.
 
If you have to compare these to each other, list facts, not opinions. Which console has sold more, PS3 or Xbox? Which has more games available? List features, such as HDMI or not? Blu-ray or not? Media player or not? That kind of comparison might work, but it still comes down to individual preference as to which you enjoy more. And just because someone enjoys one console over the other does not then definitively make that persons OPINON the only one. It merely means he owns that console and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

As to this other rant now about Nintendo Wii and it's products, whilst maybe relevant to a console debate in general, it is not topical as this is a Xbox 360 vs PS3 thread.
 
Haha I love whenever a new bit of information gets released people seem to go into a frenzy!

I think if Microsoft manage to get the price down for the Slim (might not even matter at this point), then we may have a clear winner for the 360vs.PS3 debate (and this is coming from a PS3 fan). But I guess time and exclusives will only tell. Kind of a sad E3 personally for Microsoft and Sony. Nothing much piqued my interest.
