Ok my brother has the arcade and now my house mate is selling his 20GB for R300 which sounds fair according to Bid or buy but now my mate got a 250 gig from extreme deal for like R600 albeit took 3 months to get here he says tis a waste to go for the 20GB though

your thoughts or maybe you know where i can get better prices and not have to wait 3 months

For Saves you only need a 20gig. 250 will be a waiste unless ur planning on installing al the games, downloading loads of extra stuff and/or Arcade games. I have one of the old 20gigs and I haven't run out of space yet, been jamming on it (the hard drive not the console console has died twice) since 2007.

Well I had the 20gig but got the 60 gig and having the extra space is nice to have. Especially for installing the games which makes load times a lot better, so it is a personal thing.

Your housemate's a miser. That 20 GB HDD is worth just about nothing. Hell, I've just bought a new Xbox with a 250 GB HDD, so I'm giving my 120 GB HDD to a friend.

Your best bet is to go for the 250 gig from take2 or zaps - its R800 but its totally worth it - I got mine a couple of months ago, took about 3 days to arrive, installation was simple. Cant imagine my xbox without it.

If you are strapped for cash then you can always have a look at the "General trade section" of the official SA Xbox 360 community forum, I often see HDD offers on there.

So you got that Halo Slim? How do you get ur data onto the new HDD?

yeah my one friend says getting bigger is way better becuase he saves all his games to the HDD and it has less ware on the drive ! but the problem is cash right now i see take 2 has one for about R850 for 250 gig problem is can i part with that

I used a USB HDD, and moved everything over in two loads. Since they added USB disk support, there's a nifty mass transfer tool in your memory management options.

Cool, will remember that when I upgrade. Think Ill pick up the 250gb slim come xmas, my prezie from me to me.
