I still think its too little too late... they may get some people interested in the box again, but i suspect most people will still go Sony as 1st platform - getting an Xbone sometime after... maybe (that is what i might be doing anyways)
MS is really hard-on for this though, so they might just do this now, then sell millions of consoles and THEN turn it all back on as time goes by, policy-by-policy >:(

Though i really hope MS took to heart what the consumers said and that this is not just some quick fix statement to screw the consumers in the long run - the guys they want money from. If the XB One is back in the race (though well behind currently) at least it can catch up and we as gamers can have more console war goodness.

I agree, too little too late,PS4 wowed everyone at E3.Although some people might be willing to get the Xbox One now after this announcement.
There is one game on the Xbox One that caught my interest, Titan Fall,it looks amazing and the game-play is stunning, but my friends and I have decided to all get PS4's, cause Playstation's production list of games are a lot more.

I will take it either console on their merits now, when the time arrives. However, after a definite no to the XBox One (I had an original XBox and two 360s), it is now back in contention.

Let's see how pricing and availability in South Africa plays out. Obviously, if it doesn't get launched here around the time of the PS4 it may be too late.
