Xbox One and the Death of Ownership

So you've never laughed at a animal before for doing something stupid? Like running into a door?

Tell you what, let's push you out of a speeding car and see if you get up and laugh about it afterwards.

Uhm, did you guys see that Don Mattrick (MS Exec) interview where he basically says if you want an offline console, get a 360? Well, at least I think that's how the public will perceive it.

Public Relations and Public Perception of Public Relations (PR and PP of PR:D)... That is all.

So now the dog was pushed from the vehicle? Looked to me like he jumped!

Do you have trouble with basic reading comprehension? Did I say the dog was pushed? I said let's push you from a car. Whether you're pushed or jump yourself, it doesn't change the fact that you're exiting a car that's going at high speed. The chances of getting hurt are the same and I don't for a second believe that dog was not hurt by jumping out of that car. He might have survived the accident, but he was not unhurt.

Regardless, it seems your neg-rep is well deserved, so I'll just place you on ignore.

Shows you how much they care for their public relations, really. Their public relations is down the shitter and they don't even care.

ok ou suurknol. groete!

How do they even recoup some grace? That's what I wonder.

That's the thing, I don't think they even care about recouping grace. They've shown their product, shown us that it stomps all over consumer rights and now they're telling us if we don't like it, stick with the 360.

I suspect they think their market is so big that it doesn't really matter in the end. I just hope they're proven wrong.

For anyone interested, here's an inside look at the Xbone:

Wonder how much noise that fan will generate.

I fear they are probably right. Despite what all our opinions may be about the thing, my bet is that the console is still going to do very well.

Too true, I had a somewhat lengthy discussion about a friend about the 2 consoles PS4 and Xbox One about where each of us leaning. I cited all the anti-consumer policies (the way I perceive them) as the main reason for avoiding the One. And he referenced the quality he's experienced with the 360 as being the main reason he's leaning towards it, even if my argument is that the 360 and the One are 2 completely different things, he even mentioned that I'm just critiquing without having used the console.

In any case this showed me how nonchalant and complacent the average consumer is towards how companies treat them. Don't get me wrong, there are certainly some consumers who will probably go for the One for legitimate reasons, but the average consumer doesn't actually consider the implications.

This should tell you something. Perhaps some of the voters have changed their minds since they voted, but it's still a good indication of which way people lean

bigger fans create less noise, thus a 80mm pc fan makes more noise then a 120mm or 140mm fan. and it probably has a controller like most pc's do that slows down the fan speed when you're not gaming

Wow that thing is literally a PC. Even uses normal sata cables and all.

I dunno a console for me is a "poor mans PC", basically get all the power that is needed for gaming at a fraction of the cost but with all the limitations.

But we seeing as the bigger companies are putting all these limitations on us, you getting smaller indie companies making new consoles and taking us back to the way we use to play. I mean look at steam and how they working on a way to sell 2nd games, working towards the consumer instead of away.

I remember a time quite a few years ago, when AAA games were so cheap that u would go to the flea market and it was cheaper to buy the original then the copy. Make it cheap enough to buy games and there wont be a need to swap/pirate games

Oh and pls dont get upset that i called a console a poor mans PC, its just an example
